Each color changes after wheathering..

That's it, I'll wait your weathering.
Anyway, you've done the camo in a great way. How did you masked the 3 tones?
You've used the Blue tack, haven't you?

I didnt use any mask..It is free-hand camo..

As far as I know, Uhu-Tac Patafix or similiar stuff works as well..

I have to say I think Sancar and Matt are right- weathering will always tone down a camo scheme even if it is only light weathering. I think the scheme Sancar painted is excellent, especially for free hand- the shapes and demarcations between the colors are brilliant. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the next stages of the weathering Sancar, good luck with it.

i have to agree with karl on his comments ..nice work all round but the weathering has taken the hue out of the lighter colour ,a little drybrushing of the original colour should bring it back to life

Thanks for your comments..

Roy, I like to see my models, especially Russian vehicles, heavly wheathered. I always think orjinal colors of the vehicles a bit faded for my eye pleasure. This is my choice and can change from modeler to modeler. I will start to a new modern Russian very soon..It will be camouflage again. I will keep your advise in my mind..

Gergo, glad to hear it.Thanks again.

Congrats indeed

Thank you Mauro. Glad to hear..

This photo was taken in day-light with any artificial illumination. So you see natural color of the model. To be honest I liked appearance as well..

But when I will try to take new photos at home, most probably they will not be as good looking as this one..I try to show natural color of the model..

Take care...

I like the weathering and the subdued colors... Looks much better in my opinion. I wouldn't suggest drybrushing much with original colors.

And I love the wheels. Can you give us some more pics of the wheels please? The oil stains and dirt looks great.

That is one exceptional build you got there Sancar, especially the paint scheme and weathering Might just have to get a BMP for myself

Jon, if you want a BMP-2 if Im not wrong old dragon moulded models are the only option. And I dont advice shortly..

I have also BMP-3 from Trumpeter in my stash and it looks very very nice with full of interior detail. Keep it in your mind

Trumpeter is about to release a BMP-1. I think we won't have to wait so long to have a new BMP-2 (FINALLY!)
