Hey guys ... After the amount of fun there was in the first EOD campaign ( many thanks to Hermon for that )its time to start looking at No2 .
There is already some pretty good interest in EOD no2 so i decided to throw it in here to see how many fokes will be wanting to joint in this one ..oh thanks to Alex Bluestab for the idea about throwing the campaign idea in here
The rules are pretty damn simple ..pretty much anything goes ..except aircraft as the main model ..one can be added to a dio but thats it and this is Armorama not Planeorama
As for vehicles anything will go ..even tho End of days is pretty much a civilian thing, military vehicles can be used because their past owners are more concerned with other things now ..like trying to bite you .'
So its cars, trucks, mutant tanks, bikes ..you name it ,its good to go
Start time ,, this is good .. Dec. 22 2012, the day after the Mayan says the world will end .
Tell me what you guys think
Phill

Phill, I missed the first one, but yes, those guys had a hoot! I'll do this one. (Genius idea on the start date too, )
Matt, Here are plans I made for myself when I did a Winne Brave in HO Scale (1/87th) a while back. They might help you...
Here's what I ended up with (not as elaborate as my first plan), but it gets lots of attention running down the rails...
Now, what to build... I see I have a badly started Knight Rider KITT on the shelf... What else is back there?...

Sean,
Thanks for the plans. As long as I have some general shape I'll be good. Alternatively I could take a 1/25 van (Econoline, Safari, etc) and chop it up and convert. Haven't decided yet, but I'm collecting bits and pieces as I go along with other projects for this one.

Count me in.
I'm planning on being a bit darker this time around. I'm basing mine around a cyborg takeover...think the Cybermen meet "I Robot". I figure a cyborg patrol entering a ruined part of the city being used by survivors. I've always wanted to build a walker and I think it would fit in well here.
This one should hit 10 pretty quick.

Phill: I'll be the next lunatic to give you your ten. I just picked up some Russian open topped amphibious thing while on the mainland USA last week, so I'll be converting that thing into a zombie-zafari-mobile. Not quite as spiffy as your End of Days entry, but a more sporty version !!
Now, lets get this puppy on the run.

For those who didn't participate in EOD 1, you will find this campaign and related "commentary" in the campaign thread to be (in my opinion) the most fun and collaborative campaign you will EVER be involved in. It's quite possible that your initial build and your final project are light years apart due to the other campaigner's inputs. At least it was for me on my Ferrari F430 zombie recon-mobile.
My evidence:
Here is what I started with:
This is what my final variant looked like (before paint):
Yeah, I can't WAIT for this one to start up.

I signed up number 2 (a couple hours ago). I'm thinking I'll go old school and use the Model T that I had originally ordered for the Great War Campaign, but I won't be able to fit that in with under a month to go (at least not to the level of the great things happening in that campaign!).
Lots to think about before this begins!

Signed up as well. I'll use the F430 recon car in the diorama setting, but as an unfortunate design flaw allowed the zombies easy access to the driver (forgot to reinforce the chain link and the buzz saw system was never fully implemented) it will be crashed off to the side, hinting at its demise. I just have to figure out what to do for this round.
