Wow.. that was fast Sal !!!!
You must change your callsign to "TurboCharged"
It would be easier to get the wheels out and paint them and then put them back.
What colour did you use for the basecoat ?
it looks very light, but it can be the flash.
John no work the last 2 weeks so it's build build build
Wheels are dry fit, base coat is what I always use for Panzer Gray rattle can Rustolieum primer

Didn't worry much about capturing build pics since it was pretty straightforward and simple. It's an older kit with a lot of flash and some poor fitting parts, but noting a little knife and putty couldn't fix.

so things were a little vivid after the basepainting, but now after filters (brown for Dk yellow and grey for winter cammo on the engine deck and turret) things are toned quite a bit down.
there is still a little water mark staining from the wash that has to cure a bit before I can 'stump' (who knew this was an art term.. not me!) it back with a clean brush and some thinner.
It's hard to see the change in the turret with the grey filter (no washes yet) but the top has not had any filter and hte sides have
I'm really happy with the filter/wash effects on the skirts so far.
more tomorrow.

My colors and hairspray. Will probably not use this hairspray next time. I could use a worse version that won't bond as well.

Finally a wet brush in the mud of Tamiya weathering set A and using an air brush to get the splatter. According to the sticker on the back, this stuff gives you cancer, but only if your I California, looks like ill be fine.

Finishing that one before getting back to the Schuetnor.

Sal: Excellent job, on the tiger! Something you may want to note is, the panzer "III" looks more like a panzer IV.

Hi everyone
Some great tigers here! About to start mine, with a few extra headaches from our friend Aber
The echelon decal set has a great battle worn tiger that I will try to emulate.

Working away at my Tiger 1 once again. Most of the fiddly bits attached, and about to start weathering the beast...
Still a ways to go before I call this one finished!

Here are my start up photos.
I thought I would do something a little different.

Howdy Y'all:
Good work everyone.
@Sal-Can't wait to see that diorama. I am wondering if I have the patience to do it in 1/48 scale. It looks like a good idea.
Take care,

The Stalin's Armour campaign rekindled my passion for 1/72 armour - I'd forgotten how quick and easy they can be to build. So I'm in with this - the Revell 1/72 King Tiger
Started on Monday and its absolutely flown together
Monday - construction
Tuesday - primer
Wednesday - sprayed Dark Yellow base coat
Thursday - sprayed Red Brown camo
Now comes the only part I'm not looking forward too, painting the rubber rims on 36 road wheels

I won't be able to make much more progress, until I have full motion in my right hand. I pulled a muscle a little over a week ago. Thought it would heal on its own. I can't even type, without severe pain. But, I was able to get some primer on the turret, as well as a layer of white. I'll have a go at the base coat, in a couple of days.

@Matt - I hope your hand gets better fast. I know from previous experience its best to rest it out fully.
I have put on the base yellow modulation using the AK set. Next I will be coating with AK chipping fluid and then the green camo.
