Two new kits announcements from Dragon Models, one a jeep with more punch and the other a figure set featuring a famous Field Marshall.

Woohoo, Rommel is not standing with his hands behind his back! Now he`s...pointing...
Well, at least it`s progress

Hey, it takes years of specialist training for officers to learn how to stand and point enigmatically while others get on with work!
Interesting to see he's still cold enough to need his leather raincoat in the desert...

Hmm
If a German drawing of a design that didn't make it to production (or maybe 1 prototype) is called a paper panzer, what's the equivalent for a US one-off?
Good to have more Gernerals, eh?
I note that Max & Moritz are German characters noted for their mischief....
Much like certain mfrs announcing of vapourware...?

The Dorchester Armoured Car is available from SKP, albeit not quite as accurate as many would`ve liked and AFV Club still has it in the pipeline
As for the pointing training...It seems to be something that only German officers were taught, just like British officers were required to wear moustaches.
On a serious note, I have to wonder if Fritz Bayerlein is part of that officers set.

True enough, the AFV kit is still nothing but zeroes and ones.
Fritz Bayerlein served under Rommel and later became commander of the 130.Pz.Lehr Div.
