Don't think we users can do that. Perhaps admins?
Really like the progres you've made so far Gergo. Very nice detail work.
Will you and the T-72 (and/or the T-62) be at IMSS in Dublin later in May? Would be nice to see your models IRL and perhaps chat some Russian armor.
Cheers,
/E

Gergo, the russians T72 (A or B) don't have the armor plate on the front as have the Tamiya's kit. For a Chechnyan one i'm affraid you should remove it too

Hi Stephane!
I don't know what are you talking about, maybe because of my bad english. But if you think about the extra fron armor, i have a bad news for you. You are wrong. Almost all my photos from Chechnyan T-72 has extra armor, and the Dolly Parton has basicly extra fron armor see photos bellow

Very nice!
I fount two issues on your model:
1. Tucha smoke dischargers should have straight forward direction
2. Chechen rebels t-72 didn't have additional armor plate

I don't know they had or not, I'm just doing what I can see.
It is not armor, it tipped thin strips of metal. This is done in order to protect the viewing device driver mechanic, bullets do not ricochet in the triplex.

Hello Everyone!
I didn't write since a long time here. That was because I had to move from my old flat, and was because the progress on my beast wasn't as much as I expected. But finally I've done the building method with this beauty, so can come the fun with loads of paint
But before that, here are my photos!
Thanks to watching!

Amazing level of detail.
How did you go about forming the brass cage around the headlights? I've been struggling with this for one of my T-55 builds.

Thanks the nice comments guys!
The flag: I don't know. I have some spare parts from this material, i will try some solution.
The brass cage: it was really easy, just used the old tamiya for basic, and just cut the peaces, and weldid, that's all.
I ordered the paints, so next week I can do the fun with it!
Cheers

Hello everyone, here is a quick post about painting coat.
The base is Tamiya acrilic, and there are 3 kind of washes on it 1. Olive Green, 2. Olive Green with Van Dyck brown, and the third is only Van Dyck brown. So here we go, can start the fan with mud.
More pics in my blog! http://myscaleworld.blogspot.ie/

That looks sharp!
Can you describe your finishing process for the tracks? They look very realistic.

Nothing on the track at the moment only the AK metal burnish liquid. I don't like it. I think the Blacken-it is givin' back much more realistic impression as AK, and get colorised much faster than this. But for now perfect, couse it will be really really dirty.

Hi Gerko,
Could you be kind enough to elaborate on how to correct the height of the TPD-K1 sight? Awesome work!
Thanks,
Raul

Yeah, I second that Gerko, I would like to know more about that precise mod.
Thanks
