sorry, no progress for months now.... anyway i should be able to get the vorne finished off over the next couple of weeks, i just need to spray the inside of the turret and finish off all the horribly fiddley little details around the gunner and loader's positions, i will post more pics when i have done that!

I think a couple of weeks of extension would be in order. I got two models done, but, I'm sure others would appreciate some more time. Not to mention...
I have a KV-5 and an SU100Y models, which I would like to review and build, but I'm going home for the Christmas, so no building for me...

sounds good to me especially because the VK had a run in with the cat this morning.....the cat won....so the tracks on the right hand side are damaged, much repair work needed.
Also finally got around to taking those pics!!
photo etched parts going on, i know the tow cable is a little off.... im working on it
the turret
inside of the turret (much more detail on the way here)
gunner and loaders positions with the gun laying drive in the middle + some of the interior gubbins, also much more detail coming in this department, and sorry about the lousy picture quality on the last pic!
more on the way

todays progress on the big VK:
outside turret, commanders cupola and loader's hatch + other smaller details fitted
inside turret, more of the small details added, also the turret wall ammo racks, each with 4 rounds of ready ammunition
Crew compartment pretty much finished, and turret back ammo rack fitted, with 8 rounds of ready ammunition
work has started on the L71 88mm gun!
more on the way, its finally starting to come together now

Looking good, Simon. Cutting it a bit close to the end date, eh?
How do you like the kit? I've got the same kit in my stash, which I originally got for this campaign.

The kit is actually pretty good, plenty of detail, very little flash on the sprues, but the crew compartment is very fiddley and fitting some of the smaller parts in there can be a nightmare, but its well worth the effort. Oh and the turret floor is ever so slightly too big but that is easily rectified with a couple of minutes fettling with a pen knife!
Also, im glad you like it!!

Unfortunately, I don't beleive I will be able to complete my build prior to the end of the campaign, due to a bad infection in my finger and with Christmas right on top of us all a sudden. I only have paint and weathering left, but can't hold a brush at the moment let alone my airbrush. But I will have the Dicker Max finished in the new year, and will share some pictures.

more progress on the big VK, definitely cutting it a bit fine here time wise, but hey i will do my best to hit the deadline!
co axial MG and telescopic gunsight fitted
whole gun dry fitted (including the mantlet-couldn't resist)
couldn't resist doing this either
so that is the state of the VK as it stands, hoping to finish soon, and Kevin, i think i speak for all of us here when i say, i hope you get better soon, and take it easy over christmas and the new year, hope you are back in action soon!

So how long extension would we need? How do we go about requesting one? (Sorry for being clueless.)

I've been following the posts, nobody submitted a request for an extension.
But I saw many members needing some extra time.
You got until Friday, January 10 th 2014 .
Nice work so far guys.

Quick question:
It unflrtunately doesn't look like ill be able to finish my m10 td before the new deadline. I do, however have a JSU-122s that I've been working on (the isu-152 with the D-25 mounted, basically), and was wondering if I could continue working on that here within the rules of the build.
I do have a build log of it on another forum: http://modelerssocialclub.proboards.com/thread/6666/jsu-122s-abandoned-range-target?page=1&scrollTo=191711
If not, no worries.

Dear Oliver,
I don't see any reasons why SU wreck could not be included; it looks really good. Can't wait to see the finished model.

Well, it is finally time to call the big VK finished!!! here are the pics:
Well there it is, decided not to weather it because the in-game model has minimal weathering anyway, overall it is a pretty good kit although the build was a little fiddley at times it all went together pretty well and im satisfied with the end result. Looking forward to seeing all the finished builds in the gallery!

Might there be another World of Tanks build sometime? I'd like to get in on the next one with a Hellcat and one... T49. I'm getting the dimensions and possibly diagrams of it off of WoT.

I think it would be a good idea to keep it rolling, hm? I have a ton of models I want to build, personally.
