This is a campaign for vehicles and gun systems that use a projectile exceeding 125mm. Field artillery, self-propelled guns, assault/siege guns and even rail-way guns. It all goes, including what-if's.
Rules are simple;
Caliber MUST exceed 125mm (126mm would be fine).
Any ear, any scale.
After-market or completely out-of-the-box.
Build must not be started (would make an exception for large projects like rail-way guns).
And the obvious picture uploaded to the campaign gallery.
Plan to start some time in June.

Hi Chris
At the risk of being involved in too many campaigns i do have a Russian B-4 203 mm howitzer M1931 in the stash that should fit in here

Sal, the B4 is what actually gave me the idea for this campaign.

Perhaps I should change this to the B4 campaign? At this rate I think I'll do something like the Morser Gerat or perhaps the new Amusing Lowe. Plenty of time to decide....and buy a couple kits for the campaign.

I meant for me Sal! Plenty of stuff I'd like to make that would fit into the campaign. The B4, of course, the new Lowe looks fantastic and I've been wanting to do the Morser Gerat for ages too. Had a small street scene planned for the B4 too.

Hi Christopher,
sounds , I have this in the stash
it´s a 290mm Petard spigot demolition gun on a Churchill.
I only ask because it not really a gun.
If it´s a no go, I´ll do the 12.8cm Kanone 43 from Trumpy

Paul, it's a tube that launches things at high speed (and hopefully those things blow stuff up!). It's fair game! Was sort of hoping to see a Petard Churchill.

Chris,
I missed the other Arty campaign this year, so I am definitely in. For the sake of originality, I will try to avoid building a B4, but I can't make any promises.

When will this go?
I have a crowd of s.IG 33 15cm guns mounted on various hulls and stuff. Grille 38(t) M, Grille 38(t) H, Bison I auf Pz.1B, auf Pz. III, Bison II auf Pz II... I would bet one of this lot would fit into an "over 125mm campaign" nicely!
And boy do I need an excuse to tackle one a these!

As I said in the first post, sometime in June. Not sure how long this will go. If someone decided to do a rail-way gun they'll more than likely need more time someone doing a simple field howitzer. Thinking nine months should be enough, can always push the date back of course.

And yeah you did say! I read it - but stopped about halfway down! That, as some might say, will learn me!
So.. from June or so... I'll toss my hat in for this.

Glad to have you on for two campaigns Bob, just surprised you didn't throw a wall of text at me this time! This is MUCH more straight forward, if someone is having issues figuring this out they should be doing other things than playing with knives, glue and paint.

Doh, I´ve just stuck my fingers together and cut off the tip of my red painted nose, all in one shot.
I´ll be there with the Churchill Petard, there´s just too many B4´s going around. Someone has to be different

Just as Alex has queried! I have some brummies looking for a build opportunity, too!
@ Chris; Nah seemed too straight-forward to rev up any walls of text this time 'round! What sort of quibble could I raise about things needing to be more than 125mm bore-diam? Hmmmm. Give me a while to think about it!
Just kiddin'!

Oh of course Paul, as I told Sal I got the idea for this campaign from Trumpters B4.

Christopher, Thanks. I figured those would be fine but it's always best to ask. Not only to be safe, but it also puts some ideas out there if anyone is looking for something to do. I'm going to look for the AFV M40 or Academy M12. But if that falls through I might try to do a SturmTiger or Brummbar.
I'm not a huge towed artillery fan, but I like the look of the B-4 and I'm kind of interested to see a full crew and tow vehicle done up.

Well I'm pretty sure you'll see a towed B4 in this campaign Alex. All good ideas actually, really like the M12 as well.

I've done it, I've decided (for now) what I'll do. Trumpter's /35th Leopold gun.
Just putting this out there, someone could build something like the 28cm Swurfgerat. It was a Hotchkiss H39 that was modified by the Germans to fire four 28cm Wurfgerat 40 mortars. It isn't quite a field gun nor an assault gun but a conventional mortar. Hell if someone found a flare gun/launcher that had 126mm+ flares that'd be cool too!
