I am in the corner keeping an eye on the over stimulated masses.
If anyone feels faint, sit in the corner and drink a little water.
I am happy to see this, but honestly, there is SO much going on in the industry for Modern Russian, I am just basking in the glow.
And trying to find time to build.

Indie track links, guide horns and optional rubber pads will be lion's share of the parts count.

George, you're certainly right but unless we get some kind of magic tracks, we'll have to assemble the tracks parts as well
At least I hope the tracks won't need too much cleaning

The essential message is, this is one of two T90s to hit the market. I can deal with most of the parts being tracks and such. When I get a break, I'll pick Zvezda's T90 up at my lhs. Then, order the Meng version.

That sounds awesome! My only minor disappointment is that i really want the earlier cast turret version. Oh well, Meng has my money regardless.
Matt
If I am correct, Meng pre-announced the complete T-72/T-90 family 2 years ago
Thus hope this is only the 1st but not the only one.

from the CAD drawing, there is a T-90 early version for sure, I'm just worry about the T-72B series, because Meng's release is just too unpredictable

I'm wondering how good the fit will be with these so called "gluesless" track links they are going to have in the kit.
If you think about the trackpads alone, they'll be roughly 400 parts alone (100 track shoes x2 with 2x pads per shoe)
