I have a hobbyBoss WMiK
Crew from AC Models
PE from Eduard
Resin Upgrade from Black Dog
MG sights from Live Resin.
And there is some scratch work still required to update the radios and mounts.
So interested yes however my timetable is a little erratic to say the least.

Howdy Thundergrunt
I've been watching with some interest but haven't committed. I've got lots of builds on the front burner and back burner. I've also stayed out because of the number of aftermarket items required. Being essentially with out extra money to spend on the hobby because retirement is around the corner, kids need college money, wife needs a car, no raise for 3 years, etc. etc. I'm reluctant to say yes then find out the kit I really want to build in my stash has 2 aftermarket sets only and doesn't qualify unless I bought something else. Another item is it takes a good commitment to build whole hog and the time period is not decided. All that off my chest I only have one more thing to say.
I'm in.
Take care,

I'm in with Trumpeter's sd.kfz.7 zukraftwagen. Eduard BigEd set and undecided on the wheels. I would replace the tracks, but this is not the first time I have built the kit. The included tracks are very nice and I can't see spending more money on a part that doesn't need replacement.

Hi Eugene,
I think what may be worrying a lot of builders is the fact that this could be expensive .

This need not be , here I have collected a small amount of bits that were on special offers in different model shops:

SAM_1683

Italeri Sherman = 12€
Verlinden Firefly turret = 10€
AFV Club Tracks = 12€
Resicast Cupola = 7€
Legend Tank crewman = 2€
RB Barrel (retail price) = 7.50€

As you can see it adds up to 50€, that is to some people a high sum, me included if I spend it in shot.
But I got hold of these over 2 months, that way it doesn't
hit your wallet so hard.

I had to start the half-track, for the Trumpeter Campaign. So, I will be building Dragon's old Stug.III Ausf.F #9028 with Ostketten. So far, I plan on these upgrades:
Voyager - WWII German Pz.KPfw.III E-H Version/StuG.III A-E
Version Fenders
- WWII German StuG.III Ausf.G 75mm Stuk40 L/48 Barrel
late version w/Welded Mantlet
Aber - Shock-absorber for Pz.Kpfw. III Ausf. H-N / Stug III
Ausf. B-G
Eduard - Stug.III Ausf.F Zoom
- Stug.III Ausf.F
Total cost - $65
I am unsure if replacing the tracks would be required. I believe I have a set of Ostketten Magic Tracks, in my spares bin.

Will I need to buy one of the stowage sets available? Also, will I need to convert the "G" interior for the "F" model?

I´d be in... if it fit´s my timeframe...
I´ve got Italeris RSO with 7,5cm Pak...

a trerrible old kit, but with a lot of AM-stuff available. I just checcked the prices again, and some parts were on sale (up to 50% )... the Aber "Steyr RSO mit Pak.40 Vol. 1 (basic set)" and a repalcemet barrel... now I just need to find some cheaper tracks...
fruils at normal price would easy double that what I´ve paid for the kit...

BTW: Do we have the 10 chaps in now?

Santa will be bringing me a Stug III Ausf G Dragon kit this year. I will be adding the following to it
Voyager PE detail set
Cavalier waffle pattern Zimmerit
RB models aluminum barrel
and whatever other goodies I can find.

So count me in as well!

Just realized that I nearly have all the am parts for Dragon's IV E Vorpanzer. I still have to order the tracks and stowage. Looking forward to finally starting this kit, as it has been in my stash for nearly a year.

Eugene: Can we set a minimum on how much am parts are required? I ask, because it looks like my build will cost ~$350. This is a sizable amount of my yearly income and would fall under something I'm building for a contest(taking me many many months to build).

Hi

This interests me. I'd like a long time frame, as I'm halfway through what for me is a big build. So I'd rather not jump straight into another.

I have options: dragon P IV with Voyager jumbo pe and fruils. Or a Dragon Jagdpanther with full AM Works pe and fruils. Or a Char B2 with flammenwerfer conversion?

Are all of those ok?

Andy

End result of a Campaign of this ones magnitude would need several months of preparation (or, get yur chit collected up!) and....many moons to build.

This one is not a "slap together" bang Campaign. This one requires MUCH forethought and much build time.

My opinion.

Mike

P.S. The only Kit(bash) I could or will offer up to this is the Shermie 105. But, no way I'd "geeeter done" in less than a year.

fully agree on that... I quite like to loose interst in between, and a month off (without fearing to miss the end date) would be great... as there more PE included that usual (my RSO will turn almost into 75% metal )
...and I´ve just got the basic set... http://www.aber.net.pl/upload/pdf/22602f6335351430cd898a52b793b4a0.pdf

I´m shure I´ll need at least a year... but I also would like to advoid an end date around christmas... that could cause a lot of trouble

Right now I´ve got all Items together, apart from the tracks, which will be available in 5 weeks... at least my dealer of trust says so...

Howdy Y'all
How about 12 months to build. If we start it this summer or fall that will keep us from ending around the holidays. Personally, I would prefer a later start date but I'll roll with the punches. I think we could get more participation if we let in models that folks have started to build but never finished, say 10-15% complete.
Thanks,
Don "Lakota"

I'm going to convert the Vorpanzer to an E, as was part of the DAK. This cuts down on some of the am parts, while giving me a greater selection of stowage.

John,

Stall, pick up, stall...et al.

I'm, unfortunately out. My Ratte takes precedence to a campaign. No way I could manage a "Whole Hog" and that build.
