Hi Jo

Thank you for your pictures you build very clean, but also we need to look again exactly. Trumpeter has a lot wrong.
Just wait for it until you build on my pictures on. I want you to build an exact model. Also at these images are again errors.

regards Joachim

goodnight joachim
the trailer you do is very detailed compared to mine; this is normal I started the trailer with the information and documentation I had, ie very little. I'm surprised to see all the details that are not seen on "Tankograd". I am always taking photos for unusual for an upcoming trailer scratch
What are the 3 pulleys exactly?
best regards

Hello Bertucci

Please wait with the construction until I see the pictures from the original trailer here. Do it this week. The roles are for the winch. You build really very clean, will not rely too fast. I want you to build a very good trailer. Later, wish you a good night.

Hello Bertucci

Have made from the original trailer today the images. I hope that they will help you in building the model further. If you still need pictures, you need to write it. But, I think with these pictures you can start something.

Best wishes and much success in the construction

Hi Jo

Yes, it is the vehicle from East Germany. There is a second tractor. Trailer there is only this. It is the only one. Everything is still original, except for the winches for the ramps. You are completely missing. In the Army of the GDR, there were only a few vehicles, I think 7 pieces, in the Soviet army, they were in great numbers in use. There were visible columns with 40-50 vehicles. What do you mean, what is not original to this trailer? You build the tractor with the broken bar above the rear axle, I've never seen in the original. They were always on. Do you have what the original images. What wheels do you take for the trailer, which are too small in the kit. In the original, there are wheels from Kraz-214.

Salut joachim
c'est Google qui a mal traduit ,
je disais ,si une remorque originale subit des modifications , celle ci n'est plus d'origine!
A quoi servent les poulies qui sont sur l'essieu arrière de la remorque ?
Hi joachim
it is Google who mistranslated,
I said, if an original trailer undergoes changes, this one is more original!
What are the pulleys that are on the rear axle of the trailer?

Désolé , mais je ne vois rien sur le tracteur ; c'est sur quelle photo?
Sorry, but I see nothing on the tractor; it's about what photo?

Des roues de Kraz-214 ? ou vais je trouver des roues de ce camion Kraz ?
Tous les modèles de remorques pour Maz étaient équipées de roues de Kraz ou bien il n'y avait qu'un type de remorque ?
Wheels Kraz-214? or will I find wheels that truck Kraz?
All models were equipped trailers Maz wheels Kraz or there was only one type of trailer?

greeting
jo

Hi Jo
I just read your message. To your first question, the wheels on the axle unit are for the cables of the parking brake. The Tristopzylinder as we know it today, did not exist in this trailer. He also had only a prelude brake. The later 3-axle trailer equipped with Tristopbremszylindern and a two-line brake. Many of the brake valves were copied by WABCO in license. The wheels on the trailer are the same as the Kraz-214. The tires were on the question of the profile in two versions. Pictures of it I will show you. I hope you can start something with the translation.

Best regards Joachim

Here is a picture from the internet of a trailer with the first wheels. They are of the trucks JAMS-214, later the wheels of the first Kraz-214. It is clearly seen the other profile of the tires.

Hi Joch,
It was very interesting to read about the info you have on the 3 axle trailer.
Do you have any other photos / information on the 3 axle trailer as I was hoping to try & modify the trumpy two axle into a 3 axle trailer.

Cheers Mike

Hello Mike

Glad to have that you like my information. Using the 3-axle trailer there is a lot of material on the Internet. The reconstruction of the 2-axle trailer Trumpeter not so. It is completely different and there are also two variants of this vehicle. The difference is in the loading ramps, the chassis is the same. If you want I can here the 3-axle trailer clean-place material. These trailers were used in East Germany from the year 1983. Moving on the streets was much better, as with the 2-axle trailers. There have always been problems in the curve of road intersections. What do you have for pictures? Can new items, ask what. The interest of the model builders seem to be very big.

Hi Jo

You really right, it is about technology and we remain on earth. It has nothing to do with politics. Vladimir has done his military service in my area, in Dresden. Now back to the model. What is build very well. You are giving you a lot of effort. A tip from mi, push on the brake lines a small spring, you will save yourself a lot of work. I'll show it again soon in the picture. It looks verygood. What do you think of the 3-axle trailer, we want to post the images? It's your topic and you choose.
So, see you later and good luck.

It greets you Joachim

Quand je parlais de Vladimir , je faisais allusion à l'époque de brejnev !
il n'y a pas de problème pour voir les photos des 3 essieux ; est ce qu'ils vont sur la remorque à fond plat ?

When I spoke to Vladimir, I was referring to the Brezhnev era!
there is no problem to see photos of 3 axles; is what they are going on the trailer with a flat bottom?

Hi Bertucci,

Fisrtly let me say I am very impressed with your build & how clean it is, i will follow with interest!!

Secondly, thank you very much for agreeing to let Joachim post some pictures in regards to my question about the 3 axle trailer.

Hi Joachim, I have got some photos of a hungarian trailer that was posted on a walkaround on the site here somewhere.

I am wanting to do the trailer minus the Maz 537 tractor unit, could the trailers have a mix of the "old" wheels & the new kaz wheels? Also any photos or links showing details of the flat bed as well as all the brakes, airhose units etc etc would be greatly appreacited.

Cheer Mike

Hi Jo

I saw you are building currently on the tractor. That's why I did again today images from the original, I'll show you here. I think they will also help Mike to build a correct model. One can see the Trumpeter so has its flaws also the tractor. For the 3-axle trailer I have yet to look for material, imagine purely also something here. Have fun while watching the images.

Best regards Joachim
