I hear some folks have a desire to build the 3 axle trailer that goes with the 537????? Again our friends at E63 Paper Models can help.
You can now download a complete set of 1/35th scale plans absolutely FREE.
http://www.e63papermodel.altervista.org/download.html
Then build the model directly from the paper cutouts or use the cutouts as templates to build you own model from plastic sheet!

What settings on the printer do I have to use so it's the correct size. 100% scale off the paper or is there a certain size I should use on the printer when using 8 × 11 paper when printing out the template. I appreciate any help.
Do they offer other template's to use or only the MAZ 537.
Happy modeling

Almost every printer or scanner is slightly off. Use a known part from the plastic kit (the fifth wheel or the cab or a wheel hub.) Compare the size of the printed piece to the plastic part and adjust accordingly plus or minus a percent or two until the printed part matches the size of the plastic part then you are ready to go.

Bertucci - no problem - I was just chiding you a little bit for not doing a subject search on this site for reference material on the MAZ 537 prior to building your tractor. There is plently of material posted on the Armorama site (some of it by me.) to give you details and upgrade information for this vehicle.
Your work on the trailer looks to be a real ace! Congrats.
Also, I love the work you did on the spring wound brake hoses on the tractor - wish I had thought of that! Will be trying to add then to my 537 if possible now that the chassis is already finished.

when I built my 537, I did not think to do a thorough research, I relied on the internet pictures and Tankograd!
But one thing is: for the next, I would know where to find the information.
I'm glad you like the work

the body of the winch undergoes a small change in the model because there is no transmission for the winch
after
The transmission from the stock, the latter is cut into two parts in order to more easily assemble and position the body on the chassis.
Here's what happens! Be careful not to stick the transmission as the final paint is applied.
Manufacture of cable, ditto, do not stick

all of the model receives initially a special ultra fine gray primer for professional self. To date, I have never sanded a model dressed.the tractor frame is painted in satin black or matte black, up to you because eventually we will see the difference!
The body and the trailer are painted green basic Russian type before later worked.

I do very much like the weathering your have added to that Russian Green. Aces!
I would however like to convince you to push that winch housing off center to the right as seen in several other threads on this site. That is a major and very visible fault of the Trumpeter offering.

I understand your confusion on mounting and positioning of the parts but as I said the assembly was started a few months ago.
For the next Maz, I will follow your advice.

Love that rough wood decking! Clearly I need to add more rust and oil stains to my 537 - Great job!
