We'll see if it actually looks like that in the end. IIRC that rendering is based of a group models the manufacturer displayed a few years ago that weren't nearly as detailed.

Nobody knows anything but you find such fantasy reports on the Internet.
I believe we will see the T-90MS version on the Victory Parade, which they will present as the new tank. No other new tank is confirmed.

Those figures of deliverables before 2020 seems to be a joke, Russia can't handle this

Everything I've seen says Armata is happening, and it will be here this year. No one outside of military officials have seen it yet, surprising since everything seems to end up on the internet these days.

Well from what I've seen from translated Russian sources, only 2 are built (prototypes) and 14 are supposed to be done for the May Day parade.

Some other tidbits...Russian Army isn't happy with the price tag and the optics/sensor system is at least 20 yrs behind what you can get in Western Countries (thus why French thermal sites are used in the T-72B3)

Let's not forget about the cost of Oil on the world market. It is having a very bad effect on the Russian economy. They simply may not be able to afford it, as it's price is producing alot of push back from the Russian Military.

Hello from Russia guys. Sorry for my English. Pictures that you have, it's amateur sketches. Armata will appear in the parade is 100%. Since 2011, Russia stopped buying tanks. T-90MS made for export. Everything is ready to enter a new tank. In Chelyabinsk has already begun production of a new tank for the army. The price of oil will not affect, Russia 5 years sell oil at $ 130 when the budget was calculated on the price of $ 90. With money no problem. We have a crisis in the country, but small. What was for dollars now expensive, but everything else is the same.

Peace everyone

Nice propaganda Dude. No Crisis eh?!
I am russian myself. I monitor all news in Russia and there is no information on "Armata". Only a little statement that a new tank will be shown at the parade. Not less and not more.

Read it again dude, he said there is a crisis. Anyway thats off topic. Arsen, I hope to see some new vehicle as a friend of me and I are going to visit moscow from 4th till 11th of may. To see the parade in 2015 is a dream for years for me! Any tips where one can see the parade? I suppose red square on may 9th is locked.

You can send a private message to.

Best regards
Andreas

I will write here. Red Square is closed, you can get there by invitation only. All equipment for the parade starts at Tverskaya Street and travels from Moscow to Leningrad Highway, I know exactly what you can see on the Leningrad highway. Tverskaya closed, but I've seen a lot of photos art is from Tverskaya. I think there is a way to go there, it is very big. Equipment brought early in the morning. Aviation is very easy to watch the planes fly from north to south through the city of Moscow at a very low altitude, I look only two years aviation from home, this year I will go look at the Armata. Andreas if you come, we can meet together and go see.

If they faked the turret/gun, they faked a train load of them. I guess we will all see during the May day Parade.

Hi, ALL! I think it all boils down to how the new T-14 will compare to the latest NATO tanks and AFVs. We all know what this is all about, don't we..?

Given that a lot of MBT capabilities are classified - and nobody can agree what the best MBT is anyway - I think it'll be a while before we have anything approaching an impartial comparison.

What is true is that Russia has developed a new MBT, whereas most NATO designs even though continually upgraded are 30+ years old. It'll be interesting seeing what the response is to the Armarta's debut.

Hopefully Dragon release it in their Black Label line so the rivet counters can have something to complain about!
