So I was thinking about doing a campaign for heavy tanks [as in anything more than 45,000kg] used by the USSR and Russia and any conversions or captured vehicles based on them, would anyone be interested?

Hi Timothy -
That sounds cool! I have Trumpy's IS-4 in the stash or, if one of them comes out in time, I would be up for a T-10 (especially Meng's - drool, drool.) What time frame were you thinking of? I probably wouldn't be able to start before September or so....

Hi Timothy,
Nice idea for a great campaign. But, when you say Russia, do you mean modern AFV ? Not USSR, right ?
Just to clarify. Anyway, I'm interested...
Cheers

I meant HTs used by both states, sorry if my wording was confusing.

Sorry, it looks like MY wording was confusing - I was wondering about when the start and finish dates for the campaign would be. On second thought, I probably would be able to start before September, so any start and finish dates would suit me.
Count me in!

Howdy Y'all
The KV-I was not a huge tank but was considered a heavy tank. Is it allowed for this campaign? I'm not sure if I'll have time but it sounds interesting.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

Timothy.
I'd be interested in doing an IS-3 but I wonder if you'd consider non-Russian heavies? I'm thinking particularly of responses to Russian/Soviet heavies, such as the M-103 and FV-104,

Only Russian vehicles are allowed for this campaign, but I might think of doing a multi-nationality campaign after this finishes.

Cool, It'll only be the one, have you seen the amount of indy track links the takom kit contains!!! I reckon it'll take the majority of the campaign just doing those! Although I may be able to do two different turrets for it if there enough bits to do both anyway (I never did check to see if there was enough for both in the kit.)

At least you're not doing the AH version. That has fully workable tracks with pins to add

It's good to see this campaign is still a going concern, shameless bump or no....we just need three more heavy tank fans by my count to get this show on the road.

The campaign will probably be starting when I get the necessary kits/material to take part which will likely be June or July.
