I am having a good time building mine. I will build the radar trailer later. The Real models engine has well needed detail, but for some reason a couple of parts in the parts list did not show placement in the instructions. I made my outriggers workable and am pleased how it came out, even though I broke the tops of the screws on all of them. I replaced the ends with metal and now there is no more breakage. Slight clearencing here and there made it all work smoothly. The DEF set is a stunner, and I am sure for all that have the kit you will be in for a nice surprise, when you see the set. Pictures of the wip will be up in a bit.

Glad I saw this thread as I am seriously thinking about getting this kit soon. Looks like a lot of nice detail on this kit. So, it will be nice follow along and learn from your work.

I've just recently picked up this kit and the AFV Club kit as well. What's got me head scratching is that there is no command vehicle nor antenna vehicle at all. The Trumpy has a radar, which is good for a whole unit. But if creating a diorama of an entire unit, well, you could not do it unless you scratch build two complete vehicles. The command vehicle could ride in the back of one of the many HEMTT vehicles, but you'd have to build it. The antenna vehicle would want to be on a low boy, like the launcher, and no one has a separate launcher...or do they? More walkarounds would be excellent.
NIMIX made a complete set several years ago and that included the missing vehicles I mentioned above. Just can't find the kits anywhere. ARII made the complete group of 4 kits in 1/48. I have a couple complete sets of these and I might possibly be able to scale them up and scratch build.

Very nice. I see you're aware of the missile cannister color variations. Most likely, in the real world it's the result of varying depot warehousing.

Pascal, any updates on this build buddy? The trailer came out real nice. Cannot wait to see your work on the tractor.

Pascal, you might want to check out the TM for the Detroit Diesel engine. this was used prior to the new EPA rules that the DOD had to adopt. There are a lot of good drawings in it. TM 9-2815-224-34&P the entire rear of the engine is wrong. and there should be a Blower on top under the Turbo instead of a box.
