I'm more excited about their MSTA, to be honest.

The Trumpeter MSTA is a very nice kit!!

The Zvezda T14 turret size looks , for me, more acurate than the Takom one.

Isnt that boxart a 2s35 Koalitsiya-SV rather than an 2s19 MSTA-S?

I haven't built any of their latest kits yet, so I don't know about the quality, yet, but I do like their prices so far. Their Gaz "Tiger" sells for $19 in HK.. So, if their quality is "reasonable", I'm in

Hi Guys;

IMHO; I think its Unwise to say One kit is more Accurate than another, esp; since this vehicle is so new to the arena. I have built the Takom kit, and my Biggest problem or Gripe was the Lack of Detail's on the underside of the hull, which for some people was not an issue. Now; I could understand if this was A Contest subject, and details like this mite be of an issue. But the Lack of Reference on the under hull details mite be A Sticking point for some, now I did A LOT of searching on the T-14 and there was not really much info that you could even compare against A 1/35 scale kit !

Nice view of the comparison between the upper hulls.

It is still difficult to discuss about accuracy, but just detail-wise, I still prefer Takom kit.

Two problems I can see so far for the Zvezda kit. Two small vents behind the turret are too square, they should be rectangular like Panda and Takom. The other problem may not actually be problem, could just be parts waiting to be added (which it looks likely to me) but the mud guards should angle inwards again like the other two.

On the plus side it does have the pipes for the right rear fuel tanks the others are missing.

Those are the most obvious things at the moment.

Yes, these two smaller vents I guess more correctly under the turret (when facing forward)

Hi Everybody;

I think we All should remember that this Vehicle is Still to be considerd A Paper Panzer, Meaning; Its Still going thru its Development Stage !! There are going to be Changes in its Design as it travel's on. And Who can Honestly Say; Out-side the Zavod's What is Correct !
from just looking at the pic's posted, there are detail differences in all three kits. Zvesda's kit does seem to be just A Tad bit Shorter than the other two; On my Takom kit, which I think is A Good Model, there are still some details that I Dislike, and I think that I am going to go back and Correct before I commit to the Paint Booth.

Ahh yes! Funnily enough though the engine deck grills are too rectangular on the others and the Zvezda one is much better being square!

And then all of this could be the difference of measuring off the real thing as opposed to photos.

Perspective can be a pain and what looks rectangular is in fact square and vice versa.

Seeing the comparison of the three hulls, it looks like two were looking at pictures and one looked at the vehicle kind of like the old Dragon T-72 versus the Tamiya T-72.

Kinda hard to make anything out from that perspective. Based on the fact that Zvezda is a russian company and their desire to bring more emphasis on russian subject matter for their hobbyists, I would weigh in on the side of Zvesda on this one.

I was going to comment the same.
They surely had access to measure the T-90 "in flesh", and yet managed to make some things wrong...

Again, and since the T-14 is still a vehicle in development -so it will surely get a number of modifications in the future- I'll stay with Takom kit over Zvezda, no matter the few shape mistakes pointed out until now.
It's just my own taste, but I find Takom kits far more "buildable".
That's the same reason why I did not get Panda's T-15 yet -even if it is the only game in town so far-.

But it is a great time for modeling, who would have imagined that we'll have more than one option to choose from.
Or even a single one...
