First of all, I am sad to se photobucket denying access to the great pictures.
Somebody said that the hubs would not stand up to the drilling for lacing.
I built the 16 and 18 "" wheel sets with the original hubs, and even drilled with 0.8 mm drills.Drilling the 2 rows a bit offset helps with lacing.
The rims I took a hacksaw, and made grooves for the spokes.Worked easier for me. I din't like the return spring for the kickstarter, and made a metal one, and it even functions.
