from a tank that never made it into production, to a tank that saw service right through the entire Second world war. When I purchased this kit, I intended to get the inside the armour interior for it, now they've taken a break from trading, I'll have to scratch build it.

Before the Matilda I've still got the concrete base to do for the MTB 70. I use upol car body filler, easy stuff to spread and sand back.
the texture it gives is great for a concrete runway, just need to add weathering and some moss, growing in the join.

weathered with faded track marks and fuel and oil spillages, it's looking a bit like my own driveway.

finally, well almost, the MBT 70 on the concrete runway ready for the days development testing. I'll put up a picture of it in it's glass case next week when my glass cutter Neil returns from his holiday. You can see the hull of Matilda in the background. That's a 35th scale model too, not 48th.

Love your work Dave - a splendid model you've made.
Though I don't want to hijack your threat, I'd like to know if there is a alternative to the Dragon tacks?

Ken I'm sure there are aftermarket Fruel tracks for this kit.
The model rapidly approaching being glassed up, alongside a loco I'm doing for a pal.
