Nice! Maybe can start hoping for a P-40/1S12 in the same scale and plastic, as well...
Interesting that all Google images show this in plain green livery... There was really no camo scheme applied to these!?

No. These were normally deployed with SS-1C missile setups. Here is a "redacted" CIA document about the SA-4 and the support vehicles that were used:

??? That CIA document doesn't say that at all. It says the layout and construction of SA-4 barracks was similar to that used for SS-1 SCUD launcher barracks.

No, the CIA document doesn't say that. Nor did I claim that it did. I claimed that the CIA document was about the SA-4 and laid out the support vehicles.

Oh well! This is when a system does not know why it is ... Most of the 3M8 missiles are used to make the model, and no sharp words (paint and stencil) are heard from the sharp missiles, and most of the vehicles are decorated with a delight (East German force ). There is no need to know that 3M8 had a longer combat section, and in addition to the M1 / 2/3 sharp missiles, the same variants had a model for practice, which was made from different materials and different stains (eg in Hungary 2 types of exercise weight and working Weight training model). The original and sharp rockets in aluminum and steel burner have been using more serious metal, with the outlet cover metal. The same thing with practicing missiles has been made from more common, cheaper materials that are rusty. For example, the practicing model outlet cover is plastic, its surface is rough (steel and flat), usually red (to clearly indicate its not true). Stencil labels, numbers: These are made with factory templates, in original Russian language on all rocket launchers, in strictly defined ways and places. The letter types did not really hit them.

Those look good! Köszi Gábor!
Do you know what has been "modernized" on them? I wonder if the changes are significant compared to what could be built from the kit (I know, that kit was not seen yet).

Changing the wire from analog to digital systems has made a few things, and the rockets have been innovated, rockets have got a gray color, the bullet and heat exposed metal remained clean / stainless steel. The system's vehicles are equipped with 3 colors / stained / stained / grayish black, brown and light green / externally perhaps only SNR / 1S32 / systems change, the old analog TOV-TV target monitoring and tracking system has been replaced by a modern thermal imager , Digital camera and laser range finder unit.

WooHoo!! Mine arrived today...late Christmas present to myself!
I do have a question though. In the picture above, what is the little red thing on the wing-tips? I've seen a couple close-ups on Prime Portal and they look like some sort of cover. Are those something that are just on the training / practice missiles and not on live missiles?
