Some basic painting of the tires - they are resin, but I don't remember the brand.

Next: Camo.....

Tried out a new primer as I ran out of my tamiya and it's half an hour drive to get more.

Got this stuff from the big green shed, and it's more paint per can and a whole lot less cost than Tamiya. Not quite as neutral a grey as Tamiya, but it lays down well, and is an enamel so bonds to the plastic quite nicely.



Also managed to get some of the painting done and tested out Cam Black from SMS, which went straight into the airbrush and sprayed really well, so I may be looking to get more of their paints.

Here is my entry. I started this kit when I was working in Mexico City in 2014. used to work on it in the hotel at night. When I moved there for 2 years it just sat and collected dust. It's time to get this one across the finish line!

I may change my entry to Tamiya's 1/35 SdKfz 2 Kettenkrad. I'm having a hard time working myself to get the airbrush out.

Now I finally finished this build. It has been a long time getting done and it is nice to see it finished. Here are some pictures of my finished Snow Lynx axis walker.

Hi guys. Here is my latest progress...

Ready for small parts painting, I know that the camo is not so real, but it was my first try to use panzer putty by MIG.

I've decided to change horses in mid-stream. I am switching to my unfinished Tamiya 1/35 Kettenkrad. Most of it is done, except for finishing hand painting it, some assembly, and decals.

Aaghhh!! Hadn't been near the Duck for months. Went to give 'er a gloss coat yesterday prior to decals & weathering.... and my compressor regulator decided it had had enough. Always the way.....

Latest off the shelf of shame and onto the bench.
My last set of Anvils

As much as the whole 'one missing finder' thing is overdone all to hell and back. I am tempted to go full cliche here. One primer roadwheel, red fire extinguisher, blown hub oil leak, gloss grey barrel AND the missing fender.
Any other cliches I am missing?

Nice build very clean looking, but is that a seam line on the gun mantlet or is that suppose to be there?

As I understand it, it is a casting/foundry 'seam'. A quick looks shows it on many 234 Puma turrets, but this one also looks a bit overstated. Time for a little sanding.


seems I have forgotten the mismatched hull and turret camo combo and the large panels of rusted bare metal as well..

Here is my entry, a Magach 3. I've started this model in september 2016.

The assembly is finished and have wear his primer. Time to finish it.

Hello everybody! I was working on the Tamiya Jeep for the Jeep campaign but got confused on the deadline & blew it big time. I kept working on the model just for fun and then thought it was perfect fodder for this campaign. Here is a pic of where the project is right now:

I can't quite seem to finish one before hopping to the next.
Little Hobby Boss Vk construction is done, but instead of heading to the paint booth I'm slogging away through a long stalled ancient DML Jadgtiger. Talk about size matters.. I'll have to post a side by side comparison.



My last set of Anvil tracks, but these must have been from near the end of the run becasue there is more flash and holes to open up than with any other sets I've done over the years. Add to that the hell that is roadwheels and this one might not keep my attention.

Some progress on my Cyberhobby Tiger. I'm aware of some issues with this kit but overall the build thus far has been quite enjoyable.
