This here is the official thread. Unlike what I intended, this campaign is open to anything from all of KitMaker.

Now I just need to pick something from the pile of started kits.

I took inventory of the started kits and was somewhat uhm.. let's keep it as "overwhelmed by the volume". I'll try to wrap up a handfull of them this year

Well I'm in whatever the campaign's called.

Also, Nito74 is listed as the campaign leader. This means I won't be the one handing out awards at the end of the campaign.

I need to figure out what to attempt to finish. I could try for the Merkava from last year's campaign or pick a kit more closer to finishing than that one.

I’m in with this project. It is Italeri’s 1/35 LVT4 that I am backdating to the early unarmored cab variant.

I'm in! It's either going to be a Kenworth K100 or a Kenworth W900. Decisions, decisions.

My first build for this campaign is my old Tamiya M5A1 Stuart. I had finished airbrushing this when I went back to touch up some areas by hand. It looked pretty good until I took these picture. Click to see the full image.



I plan on airbrushing the whole thing and then painting the fiddly bits. I had painted them off the tank then added them on.

I'll start this year of with a Maquette T-34 Model 1941

This kit was started several years ago and got packed up again several times. The kit is a true multi-media kit with wire, a mesh and i think a small resin box The plastic used is in several shades of grey . Some parts are sold separately (tracks, turret, engine etc.) so this kit is really a sort of pre-Dragon modular approach with the basic T-34 sprue's getting combined with several update sprue's to make this particular 1941 model.

But honestly, it's not really a great kit with mediocre fit and detail. But it does look like a T-34

The tracks are single link which required a fair bit of cleanup. I replaced those with resin Masterclub tracks i bought from a fellow modeller.

And this is how far along it is now:


First job is to sort out how far along it actually is and then get glueing...

Moved the LVT to front of the line to accomplish a bit of work. Got the sponsons and suspension mounted on both sides.

Ok, so actually, I'm out as an Unfinished Business campaign (Garage Queens 2018) is now opened up over at AutoModeler.

AFV Achilles. 13 years in the shelf (my oldest unbuilt kit). I may not have as many kits as most of the guys here have but sadly aside from figures..all are just started .

I am already enlisted gary. aralviar is mine. It's my old username which i thought already deactivated (i tried to retrieve my old account), so i created this new username. Can i still fix this issue to avoid further confusion?

Hmm. I have a feeling your old name is still active. I assume you've tried to logout and login under your new name to enlist?

I have a feeling if I award the ribbon that it will show under the old name.
