it's just a foul weather hood that mounts over top of the hatch ,notice the hatch cover at its normal open position.

it's a great way of building the model with open drivers hatch without showing the interior
This kit is good for those of us who build with closed hatches and don't want to spend money on an interior

The T-55 models of the Miniart (with interior) are wonderful, with one note - no transmission. They are detailed, although the parts are slightly scattered on the boards.

After building two Takom T-55s, I bought Tamiya's, and the Miniart T-54-1, w/interior is on its way. This one looks like I may "accidentally" order it.
