Well done, Mike!
Ever since I experienced difficulties coupling a 3.7cm. FlaK 36 to its hawler (the d..n thing kept rolling back and uncoupling), I always fix Bronco's spinning wheels.
Excellent choice,Roman!
Didn't know IDF fielded the Hotchkiss too...

Welcome Roman.
Angel, you would be surprised what the IDF used, especially during the War of Independence. They even had Shermans they rebuilt from ex-British wrecks and 'acquired' 2 Cromwell tanks.

Well, I managed to cross the finish line on this Bronco campaign. Usually I don't finish a campaign or Group Build until the final few weeks but I was fortunate in working on a relatively simple kit that I wanted to add to my model shelf. Here's my completed Bronco Dongfeng-1 missile. It was surprisingly difficult to photograph. It looks a lo better to the eye as I think I did not have the proper lighting or settings. BTW, I used two different cameras to photograph the model and you can see the difference in the photos.
It has been great being a part of this campaign and am looking forward to following the rest of the builds!
Have fun modeling

Mike, Nice job of crossing the finish line! Outstanding paint job! ... I’ve been experimenting with different lighting setups as well and I can feel your pain. BTW: Your photos came out really well!
Roman, That running gear looks really good!
Cheers!🍺

Outstanding Mike. Nailed it nicely. Have you tried a light blue background when photographing? I find it helps.
Looking great too Roman.

Hello everyone!
I finished my project in the campaign. Bronco's model is not bad, there are some problems with the details, but it fits well. I am satisfied.
Here are photos from the end of my fun.
It was a pleasure for me to participate. Good luck to all and have fun.

Fantastic Kalin. The figures fit well and give the build some real life. Very well done.
Excellent too Mike. It is funny how the smallest builds can sometimes be the ones we learn most from...
Thanks for joining in guys

Thank you gentlemen for the kind comments.
Mike, the photo is pretty curious. It would be interesting to build. The jeep with the cannon is wonderful. I hope there will be some weatherining.
Roman, very good work with your model. I like your weathering work. In my opinion, it is made within reasonable limits. Congratulations.

Whoa Roman,
That was fast!
In a blink of an eye you managed to not only build, paint and weather your Hotchkiss, but also put it in a diorama!
I admire your dedication and enjoy very much the look of its product!

Roman, Nice work on the Hotchkiss! I like your choice of restrained weathering and how it relates to the groundwork.
Peter and Angel, Thank you for the kind words!
Kalin, Thank you! Glad you like the concept. I received my delivery of GI's yesterday and have begun preliminary work on the four "mules" and their leader as seen in the photo. ... The Jeep itself is actually not intended for this campaign but is designated to a two-vehicle diorama, where it will be accompanied by an M21 Half-Track and several figures. There will be weathering, but not before I begin groundwork on the diorama base. Llink to WIP
Cheers!🍺

Nice work everyone. Looks like the support arms are workable on your gun, Mike? Which kit is the jeep. It looks nice. I'd like to have a jeep model.

Thank's Phil! The kit is Bronco's (CB35107) 'US GPW 1/4t 4x4 Mod 1942 w/ 37mm AT Gun M3A1.' This is one of their combo kits which is very highly detailed and lots of fun to build! I actually think the GPW (Jeep) assembly went together easier than the little Anti-Tank Gun! 🔍
Unfortunately, this combo kit has been discontinued, but it can still be found on eBay if you look around. The Anti-Tank Gun is still available as a separate kit as you will no doubt see throughout this campaign.
Yes, the trail arms on the AT Gun are workable, as is the gun elevation. If you decide to build the Anti-Tank Gun, you might find the following link very useful. PMMS Review: '37mm Anti-Tank Gun M3A1'
Happy modeling!🍺

Thanks Mike. I have gone back and seen your original post about this and feel chagrined that I forgot about it before.
I'm planning to do a Bronco Valentine IX for the Lend Lease campaign, but a jeep pulling a ZIS-2 is also tempting.

Now for something a little different from all the land based stuff.
I will be doing 2 submarines since they are pretty easy and simple to build and paint.
I will be doing the 1/350 SSBN HMS Victorious and a 1/350 SSN Russian Kilo 636 attack submarine. There is a bit of a size difference between the 2 .
