Bummer about that M47. But the good news is you still have time to get another Italeri (or Revell re-pop) M47 and then "reduce the stash" by building it when the campaign starts!

It's still a very good kit, even compared to the newer Takom versions.

Naw...either I do this one, or not at all. I already have enough stash, and come hell or high water, I'll get this M47 dealt with (if I'm allowed to).

While that is in the works, I'm going to check my storage pod (spare bedroom) for a pretty good size box I had full of old sprues from builds over the last 4 decades. I hope to find leftover M47 parts...maybe enough for correcting my issues. Rummaging through that room will be a nightmare all on it's own.

Heck, even the crew is still in the plastic bag..

Robert, the original kit was '98, so you can use it. It just got extra parts.
But that Wespe sounds very interesting too....

Good news Ryan. I found an old, cut up a bit, M47 sprue that still has the sprockets attached! What else do you need from that sprue (besides the sprockets)?

Oh, do I know how that feels!
Working on a sidetracked T-54 right now. It got shelved 10 years ago and now I remember why. But I'll get'r done!!

Looking over my build box and detached parts bag. I really only need one piece, part #8. I guess you would call that a interior sprocket ring ??? Noticed a broken part 40, haven’t decided if I will replace them or if needed for this build.
Like track, that threw this kit build mojo off and she has been parked since.

Do you need all 4 of the # 8's? And if # 40 are the tool box grab handles, I can send half of what I got too....

As for me, this campaign threw new life into trying to complete something for a change. So, you need to stay with this one as well...and drag out your M47 for this campaign. You encouraged some of this...so it's partly your fault!!

Hi Gang,

Just found this post. If the campaign is on - count me in. Lately, I am having as much fun (or more!) with old model kits as I do with the latest-greatest. Hopefully this is a 6-mo or longer campaign, as I failed to complete any of my other campaigns this year.
