As of now, I am unsure if I will join or not but could someone clarify if Smoke Jumpers are going to be considered for this campaign? Hopefully, my schedule won't be as bad as it appears when school starts and I can join.

Hi Kyle, I believe Smoke Jumpers qualify as non-military Special Forces, so go for it! Just remember: “Keep it real!” and

This sounds like a great campaign (or campaign to be).Count me in- a figure or two, maybe in a vignette I can handle I think.

Subject is TBD...

A question, and trust me NO offense will be taken if the answer is a resounding NO, but, would the Minute Men that shot up the Redcoats on April 19, 1775 be SF?? I know it is a streeeeetch and I am not sure I'd do it even if it was approved.

Probably I'll be looking to a 120mm modern figure or 2.

they dont have to have figures Shermie, If you do any aircraft of vehicle that special forces would use, that would count also.

Herky

Since I already have the figures I'll just go for them. I'll have to find some suitable badguys for the SF/Seals to take down!!

It looks like the duplicate campaigns are not so duplicate. One says 120mm scale and the other 1/72. I assume this would be an all scales build??

Thank you all for wanting to join. We are trying to hash out the dates and the double campaign. I tried to do another on since they never got to the first one to fix it. Gunnie is supposed to be helping us fix the dates. So where are you Gunnie??? Help us please.

I think the Minute men should count, as should the Red Dragoons of the Revolution, Since SF wasnt thought of we will just wing it for back then.

All Scales will be accepted. I thought I put allof that in, but I must be retarded, or was very sleepy at the time.

We will Set the 1st Of September as a Start date requardless of where it stands on here.

Had to do some research on this one. Quoted from: http://earlyamerica.com/earlyamerica/bookmarks/minutemen/

Quoted Text

“Minute-men represented a small hand-picked force selected from the ranks of local militia companies and regiments. Approximately one-third of the men in each militia unit were chosen "to be ready to march or fight at a minute's notice."

The true minute-men--- always the first to appear at or await a battle--- stood at Lexington Green on the morning of April 19, 1775, and led the attack on Concord Bridge. Their numbers were reinforced by the regular militia that turned out in that day's historic battles.”

Brave men indeed! As Herchealer said they were the Elite of the day, ”small hand-picked force”.

Just busy with an Assignment, will do an Update tomorrow.

So lets get building.

Yes, we are serious!

At present there are 10 campaigns running with 3 more, including QP, awaiting approval. I am personally taking part in 7 (incl QP). With a 15 month campaign, you can build for QP just to get away from the other campaigns.

Plus many kits would require converting / scratchbuilding to get them representing SF vehicles.

Alright I am in. My project will be subject to sanity but right now I will be building a 1/16 scale MH-6J with figures to complement it.
