Well..i'm not sure what to do now, i was hoping on a Nascar build. But at the same time i'd hate to push everyone away. I guess we could can make it into some kind of a...group car build campaign. I don't think "Armorama 500" would fit in anymore. I am game for a car build!, and a group is just that..a group, so lets start throwing togather some rules, campaign name, start and completion date.

Call it Motorsports Mania!

A break from the battlefield, a trip to the asphalt.

Although rally cars aren't asphalt rides. lol Or you can just make this one a NASCAR build and then have an open build next.

or

"Armorama Cup"

NASCAR sounds good to me. The only model I built in the last ten years (before I resumed with 1/35 armour) was the #3 Chevy that still sits on a shelf in the kitchen. This could be my excuse to add a #8. There was even a Winston Cup Chevy run by Martin Birrane some years ago with "Ireland" wrote across the hood!

I like the original NASCAR idea. Let's not use up all the campaign ideas at once. An F1 or other racing campaign can begin once this one ends.

Although I'm not a fan of auto racing it would be fun to try out one of those kits. Might add a little color to my collection. Having a chance to make fictional cars, like an Armorama car, would be pretty sweet too.

I'm in for it!

Gotta couple NASCAR kits I won in raffles and haven't traded away. I'm in!

Maybe I can bash a halftrack with a NASCAR and create a half-ASCAR! :-)

Do what I did when I ended up with a couple of NASCAR kits. I looked for Army sponsor decals. I have the #7 Army Desert Storm decal set and the #1 Army of One decal set. Although now they changed to Monte Carlos and I will have to find a set of Chevy Army of One decals.

I know nothing about NASCAR, but will support the Army team.

I'd agree to either, but I think that Mother's original though is enough for now.
We have to break people in to the "shiny side" of modelling sloooowwwwly. :-) :-) :-)

Here's to Mother for a campaign I never though I would see here!

I think Mothers original "Armorama 500" idea is number one. We could always start another campaing with all sorts of racing cars.

I agree, I think the orginal concept, and title are 100% acceptable, and should be not be changed. Not everyone is a Nascar Fan, that's life, other's aren't Fomular One fans that's life also. Not everyone like Shermans, not everyone like Panzers, their are plenty of other campaigns for all members to join, suiting their own personal likes and dislikes.
