They were the Texas T boys Epi, an arrowhead with the T. We had engineers and mechanics all over the diyala provience with us. But we had a lot of transport guys from that unit driving all over as well. Good guys they were.

My Brigade Zach, the 56th BCT, 36th ID!!!!!!!!!!!
They didn't take us (the FSB) with them. Instead they pulled what they needed from our HQ, A, B, and C companies and spread them over the battalion.
We are having our welcome home ceramony in Waco, Tx this Saturday.
One of my soldiers was involuntary re classified as an 11B and went with one of the Infantry units. I'm glad he made it back, along with my Cheif and my company XO.

Nice work Pete, excellent detail and just the right amount of 'stuff' piled in and on it to make it look like the real thing. Love the "weekend" placard at the front, hilarious!

Lol ok Pete ok. Sheesh, sounded like your were gonna have an alcer lol.
Yeah man, like I got a phone call from my mom about 2 weeks ago(she still lives in Texas) and she was talking to some guy that actually remembered seeing me on the FOB around the motor pool. I dont even know who the hell this dude was but sure as [auto-censored] he couldnt forget a 6'4" white guy with glasses. Hes with your unit. Real good bunch them guys, real good. They would have our [auto-censored] fixed within a week, and they ran our makeshift PX as well.

Glad to here they watched your back Zach, as that is the way it should be. No matter what state, what unit, or weather your active duty, reserve, or Guard, you always watch each others back!!!!!!!!!!!!

John,
I think Gino (Heavy Arty) made the file public here some where on the sight for the boxes. I'll check, but I think it is in the Features section.

I plan on making one of the trucks I was on, but no soda boxes included. We just used a nice big ice chest with everything in it and put it in the passenger side back seat. Damn coolers work miracles over there I tell ya.

It's not finished yet Jeremy. I want to try and finish it for Feista Con down here in San Antonio, Texas in February.
