Can I have a concensus vote on if my Avenger counts for this campaign?
The Avenger was the largest carrier strike aircraft, with a crew of three. It could carry Torpedoes or bombs, later in the war Avengers more often than not were carrying bombs instead of torpedoes during the Island Hoping campaign. The specific plane was carrying bombs, and was conducting a bombing run at the time it was shot down.

Hi AJ!
I would say no!
Sorry but if we take the rules strictly (as written in the Campaign sign up page) ) the entry MUST be multi-engined! As Treecat launched the "Bomb Away" idea I think he wanted to see real "heavies".
But Clanky44 is now the new Campaign Leader, so he has the final word...

Gee,..... thanks Jean Luc, I'm pretty sure Treecat is laughing his @*$% off wherever he is! :-)
TreeCat did stipulate that it had to be a multi-engined campaign, but since it's on my shoulders now, I'll grant this one deviation, just because I love the Avenger, and it's heavier than most two engined bombers..... but no more exceptions!!!

Hi Frank,
I was going to build a 1/72 Caproni Ca 313 (B 16) in Swedish 1944 markings.
Then a friend at IPMSStockholm did this...
Note that this is the very old and very small 1/72 kit from Italeri!!! NO WAY am I going to build the B 16 for at least a year following such a build! I hope you'll understand (I am going to try to pursuade Peter to enter his modell to the campaign, though).
Thanks to the Suez campaign, I'm no longer restricting myself to Swedish aircraft. Therefore, I'm having serious thoughts about building an Israeli Mosquito FB.VI... or maybe even an Israeli B-17.... I'll have to think for a while and then get back to you all on that one!
Cheers!

What are you planning to put in the bomb bay?!? - I think you have to put "bombs" there, according to campaign rules. Our wise campaign leader should make that call, though.
Cheers!

Will this count if I don't actually put "bombs" in the Bomb Bay
It's far from finished, I hope to meet the Dead Line date.

Hi guys.
Yesterday I enlisted in this Campaign (Clanky 44, TedMamere and PolarBear nicely convinced me to do it, thanks fellows) with my Mosquito FB Mk VI from 143 Sqn Coastal Comand. The bird is finished (I supose you have seen pics of the bulding process in the thread posted in the Aircraft Forum). Here are the pics of the finished Moosie.
If you want to see some pics of the bulding proces just let me know because I deleted them (space capacity in Armorama Gallery and MSN Armorama). The kit is Tamiya in 1/48, the build is OOB (I only added the seatbelts) and the pics were shooted with my Nikon D50.

Calos,
That is one fine looking Mosqito. Love the look of it.
I have one sitting in my stash, and hopefully it will come out half as good as yours.

Hi Frank I guess you forgot me. My Fw 200 is "in flight" (since last year) but I'm not sure if it will ever land or end up smashed to a wall ... maybe I'll do one He 177 OOB just to finish such a beast.
BTW the Condor was approved ....
the "progress" can be seen here: Focke-Wulf Condor
cheers

On this one, I’m "Ready To Take Off" and am hoping to build a Bristol Blenheim MkIV (Old Airfix kit), that is if I can find photos of the bomb bay, as I need to scratch build it.
If not, it’s the Wellington for me.

My Fi 103R manned buzz bomb is completed, but I did not like the paint job and stripped the upper surfaces to redo it. I will take photos of it on its little bomb cart thing this weekend. The kit did not come with any markings, but I think I will add a swastika to the rudder.
I think the gallery was down when I originally finished it and did not post photos, but I am glad I did not since I decided to repaint it.
