Kevin, Just by way of clarification, the C15TA is not a "softskin" it is a true AFV. It was armoured, much like the M3 Scout car, which it was intended to replace in Commonwealth formations. It served in Commonwealth formations well into the 60s and also found its way to the Dutch and, through them, some went to Vietnam in the 50s. Random Info Tidbit: in the movie "Battle of Britain", in the scene where two german pilots in a car are watching a convoy of barges & trucks pass by, supposedly heading for the coast for the invasion of England, many of the smaller trucks are C15TAs.
