Looks that way...and the fact that the weapons aren't entirely new. No PKMs or RPKs...DML will have to provide those. I cannot recall ever seeing pickup Technical crews dressed like that bearded figure ever. Most of the Technical fighters were teenagers to 30s, not middle-aged men, and most likely didn't wear sandals. Surely Verlinden has figures representing those ages. One does get plenty of RPGs though so that's a bonus.

I agree and I am really tired and bored to see old items pointed out as new. Figures came from set 2335 and 2049.

Are Verlinden figures still giants compared to Dragon? I don't want to buy anything only to have their size difference be outrageous.

It´s always the same with Verlinden "/news". They use old stuff from different sets, put them in a new box and then sell it as new set. Most parts are from 2718 - Middle Eastern War Loot and the Figures are also from old sets. The Figures are not bad but i would not use them with Dragon ones and they are not usefull for an technical at all. The Verlinden ones are bigger more like 54mm or 1/32 scale. For the weapons i would use the Dragon sets. These Ak´s are much better in Detail and scale. The RPG´s are also on the big side and not so good in Detail. I would use the Resin one from Tank Models (which is a copy from Dragon)or the Original one from the Dragon Vietcong set for an older RPG-2. This one is really nice in Detail and great in scale. For the newer RPG-7 you could also use the Tank Models ones (five in one set). Greetings Stefan
