Verlinden Productions has a host of new product packages hitting the market covering World War Two to recent conflicts, and amongst it are some excellent tool offerings with items such as a gantry crane for some dioramas with height.

Verlinden Productions have fallen out of favour with some modellers but they should not be ignored as they still have some very good and original products either on the market or new to th market. I believe a lot of these releases are amalgamations of previously released items but even so it does allow for one stop packages for your models.

722 - 1:35 - M1151 Stowage/Crew (36 Pieces) - $29.95
This set contains thirty six detailed resin stowage items and a pair of crew figures to dress up any M1151 in 1:35 scale. One crew member is injured and seated while the other stands and is in good health. All of the trappings of US soldiers in modern warfare are there – from haversacks and sleeping kit, spare containers for food and ammunition to tools and weapons through to a laptop to check their Facebook status (maybe?) Maybe they were looking at themselves on our page?

2723 - 1:35 IDF M51 Sherman Crew – Ammo – Stowage (28 Pieces) - $32.95
This kit contains twenty eight cream resin parts – the super Sherman’s new detail set from Verlinden includes a large .50 calibre machine gun and both high explosive and HEAT rounds for the Sherman. Three crew are included in half-bodied form whilst their equipment is also supplied in a large number of canvas bags, a tool box and several smaller calibre ammo cases. Everything you need to busy-up your long range Sherman.

To suit the new dragon or Revell kits – this resin set comprises everything you would expect to see on the AA vehicle’s open deck (and a bit more) As well as a nervous pair of AA gunners scanning the sky – along with binoculars and the other pointing upwards towards a protagonist. You also get all of the ammunition for the 3.7mm Flak gun you can scatter there are personal weapons like an MP-40 and KAR 97 rifle and two Panzerfausts. Also in the set are metal mess tins, “jerry” cans and sleeping rolls. All of the soldier’s personal equipment is included: Map cases, bread bags, water canteens, pistols in their holsters and gas canisters. Twenty six parts in all should keep you busy and your decks awash with extra gear.

The crew of this winterised Sherman sure have their work cut out for them! Ninety seven parts in this pack mean a lot of loading! You can super-detail your Sherman so it looks like it is ready to go to war for the whole European Campaign with all this lot! Not only do you get the commander and one of his tankers – you also get their ammo – spent and new rounds, along with ammo crates and a large stack of spares and extra equipment – swags for sleeping, spare tracks for extra armour, mines,”jerry” cans, backpacks, personal weapons, tarpaulin, entrenching tools mines, a spare wheel, MG rounds in boxes – well the list just goes on! We don’t think you needed any more but we threw in a spare mattress if you are tired at the end of modelling it all as well!!

Simple modification of the Tamiya kit allows over 60 detailed resin parts to be assembled & installed to create the most realistic T-72 engine compartment available to date in any scale. This engine is able to be seen on our Verlinden Facebook page in it’s construction phases for you to look at. In this kit of thirty-four parts you get the completed engine bay and powerplant as well as new engine decks which were the subject of lots of controversy with the Tamiya kit. If you include our sets 781 T-72 Update Set + 2333 T-72 Upper Hull &, and 2339 T-72 Turret then with some work on your behalf assembling them these will all create your perfect T-72 tank!

This is a resin replacement turret with battle damage designed to simplify making a KO’s T-34/85. Moulded in one cream resin part this could be used on a destroyed or heavily damaged vehicle or set up as a pillbox which often armies did. Maybe even just as target practice with some Germans standing on top of it?

This kit of two figures from the modern US Army are on patrol in Afghanistan in their desert fatigues in this seventeen part kit. Shown working in a pair – these soldiers are looking off into the distance with one gesturing to the other in the distance – They carry the latest in MP4 assault rifles and ammunition and equipment pouches over their armoured torsos. Goggles on their helmets keep the harsh dusty climate out of their eyes when they are in their vehicles of helicopters.

2716 - 1:35 Gantry Crane (32 Pieces) - $42.95
This gantry crane is used for repairing heave vehicles like tanks and AFV’s. Consisting of evergreen strips and resin parts this crane is wide enough to fit in the largest German tanks of the war and even an aircraft wing (sideways) if you wish to portray it removing an engine from a bomber. This kit works really well with our 1:35 Panzerwerk Tiger I production basic hull kit no: 2648 – creating an excellent diorama with any warehouse equipment.
