Bronco Models has been steadily releasing armoured fighting vehicles from all time periods some with supporting figures and we have been lapping them up, well now they have a figure set that is self-supporting and this is a War Correspondent set of figures.
We as modellers have been spoilt of late with some fantastic plastic figures hitting the market, and now this set comes along from Bronco Models which is an amazing addition to their range. The full title for this set is “WW2 British and Commonwealth War Correspondent set” and features 6 figures in various stances involved in writing reports, taking all those Pathé News reels that were shown at the time, and lastly taking stills. This I think is a fantastic product for our area and others when its released and I for one eagerly await that release.

I am very aware of the figure sets MiniArt and Masterbox have offered of late and I agree that there are some very original additions also don't forget Zvezda anf the Paratroopers, these though really caught my attention because they can be used over such a wide area and timeframe, they easily help a person with a diorama tell a story and that is why they have scored so highly with me at the moment.

Oh this is just too cool. The ideas are already poping into my brain and I don't even have them yet, key word is yet. Fantastic concept Bronco. A set that will end up being more versitile than most.

This is freakin awesome! I hope they do other nations in the same vein.

It is my understanding that the US Marine Corps were the most recorded of any units in the war so that would make for an interesting mix, it is just a pity that the Marine Corps has such a limited range of figures and for that matter the Pacific theatre generally.

These guys could even be modified to become civilians making a movie in any place in the world or intrepid reporters covering a car show or the latest exploits of Batman or Spiderman! J

I believe the work on the Horsa was done by MasterBox or MiniArt not Bronco.
