It'd be interesting to see a comparison between the Miniart and Mirror Models kits (even though they're not exactly the same).

Now all we need is a kit maker stepping out there (take note MiniArt) and release in sprue a version of a WW2, Korea, etc., 6 wheeled road grader/caterpillar in 1/35!!

And some scrapers and excavators.

ALLRIGHT, JOHN!!! How about a US Army/USMC/SEABEES steam-roller and a Bucyrus-Erie steam-shovel, or crane with choices of lifting hook or clam-shell bucket??? I'd like to see a dedicated plastic kit of the T-2/M31 Tank Recovery Vehicle- (based on the M3 Medium Tank chassis and upper superstructure) There are resin conversion kits of this puppy out there, but it would be so much easier to have a plastic kit, ESPECIALLY for our novice-modeller friends... It's nice to see that SOME of the kit manufacturers are finally broadening their horizons as far as more US/Allied subjects are starting to appear on the market!!!

And once again I have to ask . . . . Why do these manufactures both have to come out with esentually the same kit at the same time? Don't these guys ever talk to each other? I assume the mold makers are contract groups separate from the model companies themselves so doesn't the word get around as to who's producing what? Right now Miniart could have been releasing a grader or a steam shovel and both companies would have sold more total units than going head to head against each other selling the same vehicle! (I have say I prefer the angled blade option. Don't know why Mirror missed out on that detail.)
