Hataka Hobby have announced their first set of acrylic armour paints, building on the growing popularity of their initial aircraft colours. Also new is Hataka's own formula thinners, specially designed for their fast expanding range of high quality acrylic paints.
HTK-AS11 “Early WW2 Polish Army paint set”
"The set covers standard colours used on Polish Army vehicles used from 1936 till September 1939 campaign. Four colours included would allow for painting of standard three-colour camouflage of Polish fighting vehicles (incl. on TKS tankettes, Vickers E, 7TP, Renault R-35 and Hotchkiss H-35 tanks) according to the standard presented by Museum of Polish Army on the recently restored items, as well as a standard Khaki Green paint used on various supporting vehicles. The set contains:
HTK-A085 - Polish AFV Khaki Green - Overall colour of Polish Army utility and artillery vehicles (including Ursus A trucks and Fiat personnel carriers)
HTK-A086 - Polish AFV Greyish Sand - Used in Polish Army three-colour camouflage pattern. Standard colour of AFV interiors at the beginning of WW2
HTK-A087 - Polish AFV Dark Brown - Used in three-colour camouflage pattern (incl. on TKS tankettes, Vickers E, 7TP, Renault R-35 and Hotchkiss H-35 tanks)
HTK-A088 - Polish AFV Green - Base colour in three-colour camouflage pattern of Polish Army fighting vehicles after 1936
Hataka Hobby Acrylic Thinner
Apart from the above sets the long awaited Hataka Hobby Acrylic Thinner is also available. The thinner was formulated and tested to achieve the best result working with Hataka Hobby paints. Due to its composition it allows for dilution of Hataka Hobby paints without loss of adhesion and improves flow through airbrush. The thinner is available in 100 ml bottles."
