Akritis Miniatures have sent us news of a new diorama base. It depicts a Country Road with Roadside Shrine, and is suitable for 1/35 or 1/32 vehicles and figures.

George Moschakis of Akritis Miniatures, based in Athens, has announced the release of this new diorama base, which he designed. Although described as a country road, the road is paved with ancient looking cobbles, bordered by grassy verges. A wayside shrine in good repair, and of typical Catholic character, stands in one corner.

The base is cast in red plaster and measures 20cm x 20cm, providing a relatively sizeable flat usable area, big enough to present a single large tank, as can be seen in the photos. It’s available for shipping now, direct from Akritis Miniatures, for €30. Item number is AKM SC-024.
