Although it has been around for a few days, the new Tiger of Rye Field Model is now officially announced.
Being a one-off field conversion of s.Pz.Abt.508 in Italy, there is not much information about this odd vehicle other than some photos of it after abandoned.
It is supposed to have been a recovery vehicle, although it could have been also a charge layer.
Rye Field Model has decided to offer this vehicle as the next on their Tiger range, using the available references and making some assumptions due to the lack of full information.
The kit comes again with photo etch parts and workable plastic tracks. The turret is new for this kit also.
