But then you need to add the price of the kinetic kit and then it's quite expensive update set that you can get a completly resin kit instead ( my legend max pro kit was cheaper then..) so it's not cheap.. But very nice i think so i have ordered it anyway even if the price setting is very high...

For example, I bought Black Dog latest kit Flyer 72 ALSV (complete resin kit with photoech) for 74 USD WITH THE SHIPPING from the ocean.

By the way Def Model`s US Modern Equipment & Camo Nets (from previous news) also very expensive. There are a lot analogs cheaper. Def Model`s price politics not so democratic.

The cammo net are cheaper to buy from tetra models because it's the same nets..

Precisely my point- Thanks for elaborating, Gino! I think some people are confused in that they only see "Maxx-Pro" on the DEF box, not "MAXX-PRO MP PLUS". At least DEF has made a "conscious" effort to differentiate between the two somewhat different vehicles, leading me to believe that some of the people posting in this thread are "unconscious"... Seriously, folks... The last time I saw a resin/multi-media kit of the Maxx-Pro, was a LEGEND multi-media kit, ( a couple of years ago, on ebay), and IT was selling for an average of $165.00USD PLUS Shipping... So how would this multi-media "toy" be any cheaper than buying a KINETIC Maxx-Pro and subsequently adding the DEF "Plus" Conversion set? I personally know a few modellers who have "dressed-up" their KINETIC Maxx-Pros with A/M goodies such as DEF "Sagged Wheels" and VOYAGER PE sets, and they still spent LESS money than going out and buying the LEGEND Maxx-Pro... You can put me down for one DEF "MAXX-PRO MP PLUS" Conversion set... PS- The "SPECIAL GIFT" of extra parts is a nice touch...

Hi, CYCLONE! Please! You can't compare the BLACK DOG Flyer 72 ALSV to a KINETIC Maxx-Pro- Two very DIFFERENT vehicles, entirely... It would be the same as comparing a "HUMMER" to a "Jeep"... Regarding "$80 USD"- That's a retail price. Wait a few months and I think you'll find that many vendors, (especially on ebay) will probably be selling this conversion set for substantially less money than retail; they always do, after the "initial enthusiasm" of a new release dies down. I always wait until all of the "Hoopla & Hype" has run it's course; it's much easier on my wallet!!!

Dennis you say the maxx-pro from legend cost 165:00 USD , i bought mine from lucky model for 119:00 USD with shipping included for free and for that price i will not get kinetic maxx-pro and def model update set with shipping cost included so yes i think the set cost way to much for the parts inc.. I have bought alot of conversions that are much cheaper... But as i like the kit very much i have already ordered mine.. But it's still expensive in my eyes and many more... Ofcourse he can compare with the Complete Flyer 72 kit even if it's not the same size, it's more parts in that kit then the maxx-pro kit i assume and that is a conversion and the flyer 72 is a complete kit...so the conversion should be cheaper... Check on legend production conversion , what they cost.. So def model are a little over priced as he say..

If you dont like the size of Flyer, there is another example: I bought Miniman`s M916 for 89 USD with shipping from their Ebay store. Its full kit, a big truck! They give auctions and usually price does not rise above the retail. Because of their retail price is also prohibitive. It's just a market, what I want to say.
