I looked over the directions before I boxed it back up and tossed it in the stash (figuratively). I thought I saw that you can build the radar in the stowed position. I did not see any step showing it in the stowed position. I have not yet hit the interwebs to find out how it is stowed so I got lazy and posted here. Any comment on this, or has all those years being exposed to 2nd hand Testor's glue (red/white tube) finally getting to me... Cheers

From the looks of the kit, you can make it in the stowed position by omitting a few parts and folding the antenna over the main cab. Won't know for sure until I start building it. The SMERCH is killing me with the photo etch..

Who stows the radar when building this kit? Thought half the point of building it was to make it all "Big and Proud"? Just a little joking Robbie. But, is there a specific reason why you want to build it with the radar stowed? Just curious.

If and I say if I do ever get around to build this thing, I might have a space issue and wanted options. My Dragon Scud kit has a similar issue along with my Trumpeter's SA-2 launcher kit along with Trumpeter SA-2 Transporter. Cheers

You should try building one of the Trumpeter DF-21 kits in launch configuration! Talk about a space issue!
