Lots of possibilitys with this kit for dioramas. They look cold to me, nice kit!

Brrrrr! ... That's a very nice looking set! I was just wondering: Since misery loves company, could these figures be combined with the DML 'Chow Time' (3 figures) and/or MB 'Cold Wind' (5 figures) sets? Hope I'm not getting off topic. —mike

I agree with Bill, these would be great for a behind-the-lines dio, perhaps next to the motor pool, or an artillery dispersal.

We need more figures of guys without all the gear. They'd also make a good crew for an open top vehicle. Been there, done that too. The words "never feel warm again" echo in my head.

Just as likely it's inspired by five wet,cold, tired and hungry guys huddled around any fire in any war fought in the cold whether Trenton New Jersey in 1777 to Russia in 1812, 1915 or 1941. I'm typing this on my phone in the cold and snow. I work outside and it's snowing.

Stephen I have accepted your earlier statement and the previous comment, I also accept that figures without weapons and equipment have a number of great possibilities, but I still would have expected to get weapons with this set; after all it would only require the addition of a sprue from one of their other sets.

MiniArt aren't known for their fine weapons and equipment, and are best replaced by Dragon's, anyway. If MiniArt included a weapons sprue, someone (like me!) would complain about their poor quality!
