A recent release, Trumpeter gives us a peek of what is inside the box of its M915 truck and trailer kit.
The M915 was based on the Centaur commercial truck series of the Crane Carrier Company. With minimum modifications to suit military specifications, AM General, as licensee, produced the M915 and started deliveries to the US Army by 1978. The M915 was the baseline model for the series of heavy military trucks having various chassis configurations. The M915 Line Haul Tractor (LHT) is deployed primarily for long distance container transport and typically tows the M872 trailer.
