Here is a look at what Trumpeter has put in the box of its previously announced kit.
Known by its NATO code name SA-4 Ganef, the 2K11 Krug was a medium range surface-to-air missile (SAM) system of the Soviet Union. Developed in the late 1950s, its first variant, Krug-A, entered service in 1967. The Krug-M and Krug-M1 were the succeeding variants that were improvements to its predecessors. The 2K11 was briefly used by the Soviet Army during the war in Afghanistan.
Trumpeter’s Soviet 2K11A TEL w/9M8M Missile "Krug-a" (SA-4 Ganef) features refined details such as a multi-slide molded upper and lower hulls, and individual track links. Kit 09523 contains more than 800 parts in plastic and photo-etched materials. As built, the model stands at 246.6mm (L) by 135.2mm (W).
