Polish Company Niko Model announces their new set of railway bogies for the French Char 2C
Intended for Meng's kit, this resin model allows to build the two bogies used to transport the French heavy tank Char 2C by rails.

Given the size of the tank, this addition will make an impressive railway diorama.

I have to say the Niko resin set looks very nice and instructions are first rate. The tail that is shown on some pics is sold separately, I have one.

Didn't realize that any main-stream model companies offered a Char 2C; going to have to look into this one soon. The railway bogies are a cool idea though I'm still working up the nerve to start my Trumpeter Karl 040/041 with railway transporter...

I hope the Niko kit actually will fit the Meng FCM2C. The Azimut version did not link up at all with the kit and required much reworking for a passable result.

Does anyone know what was the attachment sequence like in reality?

Thanks Deux Amis, good to know that, I once almost bought the azimut kit. This is specifically developed for the Meng TS009 (it says on the website at least :-) ) and NIKO is very nice quality (although 94 euro incl. shipping is quite a lot :-(.

I guess the pics posted in this thread should help. Heavy duty jacks and timbers were used to raise the tank in order to connect it to the bogies.. H.P.
