Yup, think green army men toys. I'll stick with actual 1/35 scale resin and plastic injected, multi-part figures. To me, these are a step backwards.

These green army men go way beyond the stuff I played with back in the 50's ! I wish this company the best of luck in their new endeavor.

It's wrong to dismiss soft plastic figures as "green army men". Painted up some of these figures rank with the best styrene and metal figures. But these I'll wait for the actual figures and see if they can manage the undercuts The skill of a painter can mean a lot. I've seen some of these 1/32 figures that blew my socks off.

You may find some photos of sculpting process on Facebook page. I checked them and ask company owner why they made them on soft plastic, not polystrene or resin. He told me that the figures are made for collectors and wargamers.

From the images supplied here most of them look very good, but the scale and material chosen would seem an error as regards appeal. This would seem even more so after looking at the price of a set of 6 figures costing nearly $10 each.

$10 a figure? For soft plastic, collector or not, they really should be at least a third of that price. For $10 a figure, they should at least be styrene.

1/35 and they would sell well, I asked First Legion if they would do their NVA figures in 1/35 Resin like the US set and they said “not at this time”. Surprises me as there are no well animated action figures like these NVA VC on the market apart from Bravo 6 and Paracel.......

Nice detail and all aside for just a second; these bring back childhood memories of Airfix figures...nice as you can put a whole whack of them into a small area and recreate a battle dio.
