DEF Model released several sets of 1/35 scale resin wheels to upgrade AFV Club M54 kit.

DW35108 - US M54A2 Cargo Truck Sagged Front Wheel set (1) - Civilian type tire (for AFV club 1/35)

• 'Firestone 11.00-20 civilian tire' commonly used in the Vietnam War
• correct tires tread pattern, fine detail wheels
• included weighted front wheel x2 and spare wheel x2
• Easy wheel mask
• Total 4 resin parts & Wheel mask

DW35109 - US M54A2 Cargo Truck Sagged Front Wheel set (2) - Military type tire (for AFV club 1/35)

• 'Goodyear 11.00-20 Military tire' commonly used in the Vietnam War
• correct tires tread pattern, fine detail wheels
• included weighted front wheel x2 and spare wheel x2
• Easy wheel mask
• total 4 resin parts & wheel mask

DW35110 - US M54A2 Cargo Truck Sagged Rear Wheel set (for AFV club 1/35)

• Goodyear and Armstrong 11.00-20 Military tire commonly used in the Vietnam War
• correct tires tread pattern, fine detail wheels
• included weighted Goodyear wheel x4 and Armstrong wheel x4
• Easy wheel mask
• total 8 resin parts & Wheel mask

Yes, the civilian tires on the front handled better on the road. It was a common setup in Vietnam on M54 guntrucks. I don't think I have seen any M54 cargo trucks with the mixed wheels though.
