Mig Productions have just sent us details and images of their latest releases.
Six new products have been announced covering the three popular scales - 1/35th, 1/48th and 1/72nd. Also announced, is another of their sets of 'washes' - this time for a VERY specific function.
Full Vehicle Kits;
MP 35-205: 1/35th Scale Modern Pick Up HI-LUX with Hard Top (TV- PRESS)
The popular Hi-Lux pickup truck can be seen in many conflicts currently happening on almost all continents today. This new versionof Hi-Lux with hard top, is currently being used by many counties for various military purposes. The model can be painted as a UN vehicle or simply as a civilian truck adding a unique appearance to any modern diorama. The modeler has the option of not including the hard top if they choose.
Included is a bonus set of camera equipment allowing the option to construct a Hi-Lux being used by a news team on assignment covering any battlefield. Also enclosed is a new clear resin frontal piece to allow clear authentic looking front headlights.
MP48-065: 1/48th Scale U.S. 3/4 Ton Dodge WC 51
This popular U.S. Second World War Truck was also used extensively by the Russians. The U.S. 3/4 Ton Dodge Weapons Carrier also saw action in Korea.
This kit includes photo-etched brass without connectors. With this new technology the modeler will not need to perform the tedious task of carefully cutting the brass parts from the frame. The modeler simply needs to peel the brass pieces from an adhesive backing as they are needed. Peeling the fragile etched pieces from the adhesive backing will reduce time needed for cleaning while decreasing damage to the parts more then if the modeler were required to cut them away like with conventional photo-etched sets.Wire is also included for further detailing. Decals are not included
Figure Release:
MP 35-288: 1/35th Scale Old Russian Woman Continuing with the company's highly-versatile releases of Russian civilians, this release is once again, apt for almost any diorama or any time period...
1/35th Accesory Release:
MP 35-299: 1/35th Scale Burnt out Jerry Cans This set of 18 units includes six differently shaped and damaged heat-distorted German WW2 style fuel canisters cast in resin. These Burnt out Jerry Cans are the only damaged fuel containers on the market today. Too often, Jerry-Cans are a little too 'pristine' - this set should reduce some of the uniformity..
1/72nd Accesory Release
MP 72-083: 1/72nd Scale Rail Road Fork. This resin track section can be used with all MIG Productions railcars and straight track pieces. This detailed resin piece is a great welcome for all 1/72nd scale diorama builders and can be used together with other forks to make complex rail yards.
Filter Set
P407 - Winter Filter Set Consisting of three bottles of pre-mixed filters, this has been specifically designed for models with those popular winter finishes. The set includes the colours Grey for Bright White, Brown for White and Green Camouflages and Brown for White and Yellow Camouflages. The winter filter set can also be used to enhance the finishes on UN and other vehicles containing white paint.
As always, our thanks to Mig & Adam at Mig Productions for both the details and images of these new releases.
