Another bit of news from DEF Model deals with their resin replacement wheel sets for WW2 vehicles.

DW30046 - WWII German staff car Type 82E Sagged Wide Wheel set (2)
(for RFM 1/35)

- WWII German Staff car type 82E wide wheel set (2)(Sagged) for 1/35 RFM kit
- Semperit wide 4 sagged wheels and 1 spare wheel
- Wide tires on rare shape wheels for balloon tire.
- More like real tire shape.
- Total 5 resin parts and Wheel mask

DW30048 - German Sd. Kfz. 254 Wheel set 1 - Sagged (for Hobby Boss kit)

- German Sd.Kfz.254 Wheel set- 1 sagged for Hobbyboss 1/35 kit
- Produced current used tire by German army- Continental tire
- Correct tires tread pattern, Fine detail wheels and naturally pressed tire shape.
- 2 front wheel, 2 rear wheels and Easy wheel mask
- Total 4 resin parts and wheel mask

DW30049 - German Sd. Kfz. 254 Wheel set 2 - No Sag (for Hobby Boss kit)

- German Sd.Kfz.254 Wheel set- 2 No sag for Hobbyboss 1/35 kit
- Produced current used tire by German army- Continental tire
- This tires does not sag what it is a tire in the lifted state
- Correct tires tread pattern, fine detail wheels.
- 2 front wheel, 2 rear wheels and Easy wheel mask
- Total 4 resin parts and wheel mask

DW30050 - US M2/M3 Half-Track Sagged Front Wheel set (for AFV club, Dragon)

- US M2/M3 Half-Track sagged Front wheel set for AFV club, Dragon 1/35 kit.
- Also use half-track based variant car. (M16, M3 GMC,M5,M9)
- Produced current used tire by US army- Good year 8.25-20 military tyres
- Correct tires tread pattern, Fine detail wheels and naturally press tire shape.
- 2 front wheel, 1 spare wheel, 2 AFV club connentor parts and Easy wheel mask
- Total 5 resin parts & Wheel mask

DW30051 - US M2/M3 Half-Track Sagged Front Wheel set (for AFV club, Dragon)

The resin wheels for the 'dub remind me of my 1970 Baja-in-the-works attempt in those crazy days of the mid-1980s. To have had such tires though... they really would grab attention on the kit when compared to the rather tame stock tires.

Nice to see 2 options for the SdKfz 254, sagged or not sagged, in case you want to have the Saurer on the tracks, not wheels or just don't like sag. I used the Panzer Art ones on mine, but the castings were not that crisp and they had some 'dags' from imperfections. These ones seen to be better and up to DEF usual standard.

I agree. I used resin replacement wheels from various manufacturers, but I always found DEF as the best option. Mario
