Previously listed here, but now showing up on the the company's website as an 'imminent' release is new release from MiniArt
36006 - FRENCH STREET is a kit for building a section of French street. Two frontages of typical buildings are included. The kit also contains such items as injection-moulded window frames, shutters and a variety of other accesories. A base is also included as are items such as lamposts. As a bonus, a sheet of commercial and road signs is also included.
For those unaware of MiniArt's building/diorama range, the building components (walls and roofs) are moulded in styrene using vacuum-forming which, for subjects like this, is an ideal medium where a 'lower' tolerance of accuracy is unnecessary. The company has published a useful guide on its website which covers the construction of the buildings. It can be seen:
