Hi Guys…..I thought I would take the time to introduce the NEW 'BrassAssist' Roller-Set Mk MC from The Small Shop EU

The New 'BrassAssit' ROLLER-SET Mk MC has many new features, these have been added after much feedback from our customers who have the ‘early’ types of wooden roller sets….we thank all those who passed on their thoughts and ideas.

All METAL construction

‘Super-Hard’ clear anodising,
This gives a' slippery' surface and prevents damage to the base unit. Contrast is maintained by this colour making very small parts easy to work with even if you are colour blind.

All Metal Forming-Rollers
Replacing the early wood dowels these are easy to use, remain undamaged and stay clean even when using talc for lubrication.

Soft Rolling Deck
Allows ‘true’ cylinders to be ‘rolled and curves created

Bending Beams
Form your ‘Pre-Etched’ tie downs with ease and accuracy.

Bending Comb
Make ‘matched-size’ Garb-Handles, work in different heights and lengths, and ALWAYS produce the same size !!

Roll it or Curve it HOW-TO-DO

The Soft Rolling Deck
This area, on the UNDERSIDE of the unit has a soft rubber rolling surface added to enable ‘true’ cylinders to be rolled.

On the top deck pre-form the cylinder around an ‘over-sized rod and cut-out…heating the brass to remove its ‘spring’ can help with cylinders.

Take a smaller sized rod , flip over the Roller-Set MkC and position on the rubber mat.
Roll back and forth until the cylinder is formed.



Bending Beams

Across The whole width of the top deck run two pre sized ‘Bending-Beams’, these are used for bending the pre-formed and pre-etched tie-downs sold by makers such as Aber and Edward, these are no longer a ‘PAIN’ to work with when you use these features.


Bending Comb
This NEW and Unique device is used to create MATCHED-SIZE grab handles every time. Any soft wire can be used (DO NOT USE HARD WIRE) and the technique is easy to master. Grab handles of many different sizes can be made. Three sizes of ‘leg’, from 1mm to 3mm combined with 1mm to 6mm in length in each leg size !!

Not only Can you Use this for handles of ANY size, you can also use it for scratch built accessories such as, Kubelwagen/Schwimmwagen wind screen holders, MG 34/42 Ammo Boxes, and many, many more custom built accessories.
