Another interesting batch of new releases has been announced by Mig Productions
Beginning with the conventional in terms of AFV updates:
MP 35320: Syrian T-55 Conversion (19.50 Eur)
This resin detail set, designed for the popular Tamiya kit, allows a modeler to quickly assemble a T-55 as seen during the Battle of Beirut in 1982 and other Lebanese conflicts since. It Includes the only North Korean designed range finder, KPV 14.5 anti aircraft gun cupola mount and drivers foul weather hood on the market. The main armament recoil guard, also included, and foul weather hood where often stored externally on the turret making them important details that will be quickly recognized by all modern amour enthusiasts. The precise simple to assemble resin external fuel tank plumbing attachments, also the only ones available, will also be welcomed. Accurate scale thickness wire is included for the plumbing. The turret MG Plug and correct towing hooks will also save time for all T-55 fans.
MP 35350 - Modern Russian Fuel Tank Plumbing Attachments (4.50 Eur)
These accurate simple to assemble finely casted resin external fuel tank plumbing attachments are the only ones on the market and will be happily welcomed for all modern Russian Armor fans. Our set can be used on all T-54s, T-55s, T-62s and T-69s. Accurate scale thickness easy to form wire is also included for the plumbing.
MP 48196 - U.S. Studebaker (GMC?) Closed Cab (17.50 Eur)
This conversion, designed for the Tamiya kit, allows modelers to quickly construct the more common closed cab model. The closed cab model was also produced and used by other countries such as Russia. The closed cab Studebaker was popular with many other Allies including the Chinese. The major part of this conversion is the entire frontal cab, hood and fenders flawlessly molded in one piece. A photo-etch set containing fine details such as a windshield frame and one piece grill is also enclosed. An interior is incorporated containing a photo-etched dashboard.
From Armor releases, the more usual of the company's range in the form of finishing materials:
P417 - Rainmarks (9.50 Eur)
After numerous questions regarding the application of Rainmarks Mig Productions is finally offering a product that allows modelers of all skill levels to easily apply this subtle but important weathering effect. Rainmarks represent fine matt streaks of dust and grit that have been washed down the sides of a vehicle from rain. Successive layers of Rainmarks can also be applied over each other as washes giving a subtle authentic layer of matt dust onto any surface perfect for the dry application of pigments.
Two more of the company's Abteilung Oil Shades have been announced:
ABT165 - Faded UN White
This very light grey is really good for fading on all types of vehicles with white finishes. Faded UN White will also help give depth to winter camouflages. This tone is also ideal for adding pin washes into panels on vehicles and structures containing dark finishes.
ABT170 - German Grey Highlight
Whether you are dry-brushing, applying color modulation or blending, this attractive light blue-grey tone is ideal for highlighting details and fading on early German and all other types of grey vehicles. German Grey Highlight will also give a cold appearance when blended onto winter camouflages and other details on cold clement dioramas.
Finally, continuing with the SF theme that began a few months ago:
F 35652 - 1/35th Hover Tank (52.00 Eur)
Resembling and ancient arthropod this easily assembled model contains six movable legs allowing the modeller to adjust it onto any diorama. The legs can also be easily folded for flight. Our full resin kit includes photo-etched grills and authentic tubing making it another impressive looking combat vehicle. The Hover Tank can be painted or detailed in any manner on whichever battleground you choose here over earth or even another planet. The three guns can also be positioned and attached in any manner the modeller chooses. This Hover Tank can be placed in dioramas with real tanks creating original scenes. Your imagination is the limit.
As always, our thanks to Adam of Mig Productions for the Updates!
