MiniArt Ltd. have just informed us of another In-Progress model which should whet the appetite of even the most jaded of palates...
35061 - SOVIET FIELD KITCHEN PK-42

The new model contains 180 parts for the field kitchen along with a three-man 'crew' and a hopefully-waiting soldier.

This model has been in the 'Future' lists for a few months now, and its good to see that its getting close to release.

As always, our thanks to MiniArt Ltd for the Update!

Excellent and I like the fact that the infantryman included is wearing puttees.

They actually going to make the tires out of 7 "slices"? I guess you can get some better detail of the tread pattern, but wow...

Pat is it not odd that the infantry soldier is the only one wearing the early war kit when the cooks have the later boots? Ignoring that an item such as this has been a long time coming, well done MiniArt.

Typical in all armies thar rear echelon types get the best gear at the expense of frontline troops Also remember that short boots were supplied as a lend lease item by both America and The UK.
