Why do they all have Marine style canteen covers? Do they come in the kit? If so, that is an error, and they should be replaced by Tamiya or DML items. Also, none of their haversacks have the outer pocket that usually covers most of the shovel blade. Usually these packs, I'd think particularly for D-day, would have that outer pocket attached.
Great painting and display.

I know hardly anything about the finer details of US kit so no nitpicks from me, I love it!
Well done!

Thanks for replies,guys!
Really,it`s one of the freshest sets by Masterbox.I made it for advertising aims,
(for Nerenberg toys exposition),that`s why I assembly it stright of box and do n`t changed some parts (canteens, haversacks) with more correct tamiya`s or dragon`s ones.Anyway, thanks for all notes,it`ll be usefull for me in next projects.

Interesting Vladimir - I took photos of this at Nuremberg - little realizing it would end up being a feature here!

Vladimir,
This is a very nice diorama.
Its excellent painting and diorama layout is what has made me to purchase this group of figures .
Great effort .

I was just on the MasterBox site and noted that this is what they say about this set.
They have another US infantry set that they are sub-texting as "D-day" but this set they do not, simply calling it "US Infantry - July".
Nice job on this Vladimir!
Cheers,
Jim

makes us wanne achive the same skill level, cause you have SKILLS man!!
only Q i have 4 u; what's it with the piece of wood, looks like a splinter , in the middle of the path?
Do you need it? If not take it off, I don't feel like it belongs there, in that setting.

Hi,
Youre vignette just looks excellent.
I love the way ou paint uniform, the different shade you gave it, worn and dirty. can you tell us a little about the technique you use. I've notice their is the same effect on the Miniart set published on their website on also on tank figures.
I love also the different tones on the groundwork.
lastly Hod did you make the grass ?
Thanks and congrat,
Julien

I can't claim credit on this since this is Vladimir Demchenko's work, not mine. I just had the pleasure of editing the photos and putting them up as an On Display and announcing it here. My figure painting skills aren't anywhere near this level.
